-Comment: A young boy (or probably 2 different?) in buckskin Lederhosen, H-style suspenders. Called Sepperl or Seppel. I don't know his real name. Also some younger men in Lederhosen Schuhplattler dance with Watschnplattler (slapping in face). And older men in Lederhosen sitting playing in a band. Some young men in wide green cotton suspenders and long cotton pants. Looks more Tyrolean to me.
Finally another Lederhosen and Heimatfilm. After stage play by Max Neal. Also starring Joel Stöckel, Günther Lüders, Renate Mannhardt and Beppo Brem.
One very short scene with a boy at a bowling alley also jumping in the air (at the beginning of this film, small pic right) and one very long scene (~10 minutes) of the other boy, barefoot outside and inside the cottage. He even sings together with the woman (yodelling) and she tries to splash water from the bucket at him because he steals bread. Also sitting on a bed.
Very good scenes of men dancing with women in Dirndl and doing the Schuhplattler dance. I think at least one man in shorter smooth finish Lederhosen. But most have longer buckskin traditional Tracht Lederhosen.
Some good landscape scenes, but most of the film is quite boring and looks like a stage play. Setting of the late 1800s is quite interesting with some historical uniforms and helmets.
I haven't found much other infos, nor clips nor DVD/VHS releases. There are also other later movie versions (I have to check them) and of course stage plays. Title translates "The sinful village" but not real sins were shown.
Acting of the boy is quite good, and it's something different then always Michael Ande, Harry Kratz and others. Of course could be better and more scenes. But even rating 7.
