Watschnplattler (slap dance, slap in the face) and clapping with benches I also remember in a Heimatfilm (men) but I currently don't recall the title, maybe in So liebt und küsst man in Tirol. Or Im weißen Rössl (1952) and/or 1960)? One with young boys very similar is in Die fröhliche Wallfahrt (re-uploaded).

Some Lederhosen (all pics) have much patina or are of smooth finished leather. Searching for my unknown Italian movie, I'm currently checking again all Italian movies and series <1992 on IMDb and so found this. 

Pic 1 from part 2 Leb' wohl, du mein Südtirol. Pics 2+3 from part 1 Brennende Lieb'. Very interesting. I only have checked this at very high speed. Directed by Karin Brandauer.

English title: A Family Affair. Original title: 全家福 . I haven't seen the full movie, but due to the age rating ~2-3. Movie itself might be better.

He has a son called Xiao Xiao Bin (小小彬) who is also a young child actor (see my other blog, Autumn's Concerto).

I missed some parts, but obviously very few Lederhosen scenes. Maybe none in part 2.

I'm still searching for my Italian assumed unknown movie and checked almost all Spanish and Portuguese movies of the 80s and 90s with no success.

I think few good scenes. Typical late musical Heimatfilm. Directed by Harald Reinl, starring Hans-Jürgen Bäumler, Georg Thomalla, Rudolf Prack and Beppo Brem.

Update: Junges Licht

After more than half a year, I finally have seen (almost) the complete movie. One of the best recent Lederhosen movies. Rating 9 was correct, almost rating 10!

Many good scenes and often sitting scenes. But rather few others (from school) and I think no smooth finish Lederhosen. And I don't like much the main character. Blonde would be better.

Pic 1 at 48 minutes, pic 2 21, pic 3 at 58 (also on all fours, even better) and pic 4 at 34 minutes with another boy in Lederhosen but without suspenders. Unpictured: Sitting on bed at 1h42.

There's a spanking scene at school (slapping on the hands, another boy).

Definitely worth buying, but I bet that this will soon be aired on TV.

One boy in a red sailor collar. Also girls in that class. But not sure if in sailor dresses. Also a spanking scene of the older boy (standing) in long white pants.

Checking for some b&w classics (soon on my bib overalls blog), I found this scene by coincidence on YouTube (titled Prügelstrafe).

The series is available in the great "Große Geschichten" DVD series ("Väter & Söhne" rating 9, Das Klavier (rating 6), Jokehnen (rating 6), Heldenfrühling, Nirgendwo ist Poenichen, Jauche und Levkojen, and several other good series.

There is a 1987 movie with the same title and including some of the scenes of the series, but that one is not a compilation of this series but an independant movie! Based on the 1903 novel "The Riddle of the Sands" by Robert Erskine Childers. There's also another, British 1979 movie.

I don't know the complete series, yet, but I assume few or very few scenes. Who knows the complete series and can give more details? Is it worth buying?

Rating 7-8 for now.

Update: Looking for Miracles

Next to vintage 1930s clothes including bib overalls, a short union suit (underwear), bathing costumes and even a sailor suit, there are also other interesting scenes.

There's also a caning scene at 38 minutes, so now tagged spanking as well.

I have still not finished rechecking the DVD.

Very handsome Zachary Bennett, but he's quite young. Nice rear views.

I don't remember other actors in sailor suits. And the boy is very young.

Another one, I found on one of my old VHS tapes (around 10 minutes left). Some interesting scenes (peeing at a wall at a funeral with another boy, rear view) and opening the rear part of his shorts, showing his grandma his butt, chasing him).

I recognized Angelika Böttiger (on the far right) also appearing later in series Schloss Einstein.

Movie seems to be rare. English title: Childhood. Nice rural setting in Silesia.

Obviously few sailor suit scenes. Also a blonde girl in pigtails, soon on my other blog, rating ~5.

Also some few other boys in Lederhosen, mainly or only without suspenders. At least one in tight, smooth finish Lederhosen. However most boys at school don't wear Lederhosen but cotton shorts. There's also at least one brief spanking scene by a woman (mom ?) while standing but he runs away. Pic from the trailer which is at 14 minutes in the movie.

I found this by coincidence on Google, searching for something completely different. I don't know the complete movie yet and hope for a soon broadcasting. Set in Dortmund. Novel by Ralf Rothmann.

Rating 9-10 for now. Just released on DVD and BD. I think, I can wait some weeks or few months for a broadcasting (or upload).

Update: Almost completely checked. Unfortunately few others and no smooth finished Lederhosen. But almost rating 10. Some scenes are in b&w but are very good, either.

Update: Our Gang

After finding boys (and girls) in pigtails (and pulling pigtails) and some more boys wearing bib overalls and also Western scenes and interesting bedroom scenes, I also found some more sailor suit scenes and even spanking scenes. So something for all my 5 blogs.

Pic 1 showing twins Charles and Raymond (Ray) DeBriac as Scrappy and Sissy in white sailor suits including white collars and rather short dark pants in the movie "Every Man For Himself (1924)". Unfortunately the image quality of this early film is quite bad, but there are also some close-ups.

Pic 2 is from "Shrimps For a Day" (1934) I think it's Spanky. Dark blue, regular sailor collar, 3 stripes. I think also colorized.

There's a spanking scenes of a boy in a night shirt by a man (dad ?) over his lap in "When the Wind Blows (1930)". The nightshirt is lifted up but that's not directly shown.

Unfortunately most kids are very young. Also of course more historic clothes and costumes (for more infos and pics visit my overalls blog). Some episodes were also colorized.

I like the Sullivan movies and series, especially Wind at My Back.

Unknown 17: Schinkenklopfer

I recently found this interesting clip showing boys in longer Lederhosen (H-style suspenders) and other traditional clothes (but not hats) dancing Schuhplattler (Gaudiplattler) and slapping each other on their bottoms. Some girls watching it. Reminds me of St. Florian Sängerknaben in 2011.

I'm not sure if this was being broadcasted (documentary ?) or is just a private recording. Probably a private clip as there's no broadcasting logo (or must be much older).

Perfect introduction to the upcoming Oktoberfest this Saturday.
