-Comment: A young woman in a sailor dress (pictured), might be Anny Schlemm. Also I rember 2 sailors at the beginning. After the operetta of the same name by Carl Millöcker. 2nd of 4 film versions.
I don't like this movie. However the plot and setting is quite good.
People of a fictious village make a stand against a corrupt mayor. The scapegoat looks more like Zorro to me.
It looks partly like a stage play, also acting some kids (but without sailor suits or Lederhosen and very few scenes). Almost a Heimatfilm but not really. I think also few men in real Lederhosen. Few and quite bad songs.
The long red sailor dress and the anchors looks quite good. Rather short collar. 3 stripes. Also quite good and interesting other historical uniforms hats etc. But for this movie rating 2 only. Haven't found any DVD nor VHS releases nor clips. I also have to check the other versions. Maybe they are a bit better.
