Found by coincidence on YouTube as (general) recommendation. Uploader zurückgespult.

–Comment: Happy New Year! I found some parts on my VHS. At least some parts are available online. Luckily I found the title as I had the text "Bleib fröhlich und lustig ein Knab in Steinfeld". First 0 Google hits, but then I found it under Oper Steinfeld.

Some young boys (of a 1880s boys choir) in light grey buckskin Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. Open jackets.

I don't know the full opera. I assume rather few scenes. 

3h opera by Friedrich Cerha. Novel by Peter Turrini. Based on a tale. 

And young boys. So rating ~3-(4).

Pic taken from a vid filming a TV magaine (uploader telenostalgiker). Super tv 21/1992 on 23-25. March 1992. I haven't found any info about this rare show. There were also also at least 2 audio cassettes and vinyl albums (found on discogs). This 2nd episode was aired on TH 28. Mai 1992. One other ep obviously on 10. Mai Mother's Day.

Probably a shortlived series, maybe just 2 episodes?

I don't know the names of the kids pictured. Maybe one of the artists from the cassettes?

Rating ~5 but unsure. Could be much higher. Aka Pommfritz und Edelweiß.

I've uploaded some 1989 episodes, some more to come. In episode about Great Britain (clip 1 below), is a very young Scottish boy in a kilt singing and dancing. And there's a boys choir (Liverpool Cathedral Choir singing Yesterday with the host). Rather few good scenes, mainly in the second half. Much better is my Belgian clip (clip 2, no classical choir, no sailor suit and Lederhosen though).

German title: Die Trapp Familie - Ein Leben für die Musik. Also starring Yvonne Catterfeld as Maria Gustl (Augusta). I think some more more supporting actors in Lederhosen, at least men. Also uniforms.

I found this by coincidence on IMDb and still have to check the full movie. I assume few good scenes though. Pics from the trailers. Rating ~4 for now.

525 Jahre Wiener Sängerknaben - Gedenkkonzert

 

Gedenkkonzert für Nikolaus Harnoncourt im Musikverein für Steiermark. Another one from channel Chöre im TV. Dark and white suits. 2023. Clip 2'30''. Full movie is 1h26. (I haven't checked the full version). Rating ~6 for now.

Tölzer Knabenchor (Omas Pudel, 2009)

 

I found a clip called "Tölzer Knabenchor (Juni 2009) "Omas Pudel" - "Auf die Plätze..." uploader Toelzerfanclever. Different shades of the grey Lederhosen. Clip is 6 minutes.

I have uploaded a better, brighter clip. The other was too dark, darker than the original. Some vids end up too dark on YouTube, other film on same vid was correct. Maybe recorded in longplay. I used libav deinterlacer, linear mixed, autom brigthness correction. File is 3x larger.

I have uploaded this rare Boys Choir documentary. No sailor suits, But mainly different shiny shorts including 70s yellow and 80s Adidas (was on my shiny shorts blog, previously unknown, rating ~7-8). Soccer scenes at ~6-8 minutes. In total 26 minutes. Parts might miss. I now have a brighter clip, see next post.

Zebra-Star (band)

 

A young Japanese boy band called Zebra-Star (ZeBRA☆Star) in nice shiny blue collars with red and white wide stripes. Also touching the collars. Red scarf. White blouse and medium length pants.

2019 song/clip (uploaded in 2020) called "ZeBRA☆RED 「Lucky Boy☆Lucky Days」 リリースイベントダイジェスト" uploader stardustdigital. 3.55. There are also more clips.

Rating 4-5.

I wanted to upload a clip, but it's already online even the full 2012 episode.  

Youtube channel "Kapelle Josef Menzl". 11 years ago but there aren't that many clips. Scene at ~34 minutes. Lederhosen are quite long though. Also men. I didn't had the time to check more episodes or other clips on that channel.

By coincidence, I found a 2012 post without pics. Rating 6. Probably as this is a reality show. I also had a 2nd pic, a headshot of the boy on left. Maybe this is of interest for someone. I haven't searched if it's maybe online somewhere. Also men in Lederhosen.

I rarely watch this show. I think there are mainly grown-ups/men in Lederhosen. But I bet that there are more boys (at least in the audience).
