-Comment: Mary Beth McDonough as Erin in a blue sailor dress (pictured). Long blue skirt, no stockings, short collar, 3 stripes, white scarf. Also a boy in shorter pants (which I tagged breeches).
Pic is from double Christmas themed episode "The Children's Carol" S6-E11 (Germany: episode 12+13 "Traurige Weihnachtszeit"=sad Christmas Time, pic from ep. 13).
I wonder why I hadn't noticed that earlier. Maybe as I mostly watched the earlier seasons.

This is an unplanned entry, but I don't want to create this after Christmas.
My favourite bib overalls series (for more infos see my other blog, very first entry, rating 10, and separate entries of each season, except season 9 yet). I will also create today a special Waltons Christmas entry on my other blog (boys and girls in overalls). And later a non-Waltons Christmas entry here.

This episode is probably the best and most touching of the few Christmas episodes. Also starring a British girl and her dumb brother. Sadly that most people don't wear overalls at Christmas also not in the 1940s.
Season 6 (rating 9 for overalls) is quite good and the only season with mum Olivia in bibs, but I prefer earlier seasons.
I have to check the complete series for other sailor suit/dresses or similar clothing with collars or breeches, but this will take some time. I don't assume Lederhosen here.
