There are definitely better movies. Directed by Jaromir Borek starring 10 yo Viktor Král ("Návstevníci" aka The Visitors) as main character.

Nice farm family series. For sailor suits rating 3 only.

–Comment: First a young boy at around 15 minutes in a white sailor suit with a dark blue collar, round at front, 2 stripes, short collar flap and white dickey.

And at the end some few older boys in different sailor suits, also undressing scenes. Also boys in shorts earlier. And I think a lady in a builing in a sailor-style dress including collar.

Note, the open collar in pic 3 and also the collar is being touched by a man. Also some sailor men in sailor suits.

Handsome boys. But I noticed very few and brief scenes of sailor suits only.

So rating 4-5 only. Russian title: Капитаны голубой лагуны. English title: Captains of the Blue Lagoon.

Now completely checked this episode 9 - Prag. Even better and much more scenes than first assumed, but in the first half only.

Lederhosen might be of nappa leather. Some good scenes including sitting. Handsome boy, but I prefer shorter hair. Typical end of the 60s haircut. Reminds me of the Pippi Longstocking boy.

The character is called Pavel, but the name of the actor is unknown. Credits including some Czech names at the end but not with their character names. Probably the kids are uncredited. The 2nd half has a dramatic plot about avoiding a pandemic.

–Comment: A bit off topic but nice historical clothes. Setting, especially in season 1 looks like a Western but is in 1910. So, too late for my Western blog.

Pic 1 showing boys in knickers outside the school. Pic 2 some boys sitting in the class. Both pics from s4e2. At least 2 boys in bib overalls in season 1 (overalls blog, rating 5). Most boys wearing caps and pants with suspenders (surprisingly all clothes looking brand new). Some nice sitting scenes (also in season 1 of Caleb in light brown pants).

And many girls in pigtails, pigtails blog rating 6.

Update: Die Halbstarken (1956)

As announced, an update of this movie which has been aired yesterday. Good speedo scenes also of a young blond boy at the beginning.

I think the first Lederhosen scene at around 41 minutes with a barefooted boy in the streets in buckskin Lederhosen with suspenders (pictured).

Soon after that the known Soccer scene with 2 boys in Lederhosen. Also Horst Buchholz in full length Lederhosen.

Sorry, I'm running out of movies depicting Lederhosen and sailor suits.

I have some interesting movies showing historical clothes on my other blogs (bib overalls blog, Western blog, Shiny shorts blog).
