Also starring 10 yo Harry Kratz ("Die Sennerin von St. Kathrein", rating 8 and other films) most likely also in Lederhosen.
Sorry no pics, no trailers, and I also couldn't find any DVD nor VHS releases.
The only color pic is the movie poster at

(however the movie is b&w) 95 minutes, directed by Gustav Fröhlich after novel by Ilse von Gasteiger. Also starring Rudolf Carl and others.
I don't know this movie but I assume a good Heimatfilm and it's also rare to show a girl/tomboy in Lederhosen back in the 1950s. The 1936 comedy version (starring Traudl Stark, not sure if in Lederhosen) had even been banned for showing at Austrian schools. Very few infos on the web even fewer for this 1955 version. Also not sure of the time of setting, but most movies of the 1950s are set in the 50s especially with this timeless plot.
Also almost no infos about the novels. The 1935 novel was written by Edith Zellweker (however similar or same plots?)
There is a lobby card picturing Harry Kratz but showing him only sitting with an accordion not showing if wearing Lederhosen (auction pic which will be deleted soon). There is also a b/w movie poster with her. International title" His Daughter is Peter".
I hope for a soon broadcasting. But rating even 6 for now.
