-Comment: British Christian Bale (pictured) as (12 yo ?) Prince Alexei (Tsarevich Alexis, 1904-1918) in as well blue and white short sailor suits (both with dark pants). Blue collars, 3 stripes.
I like Christian Bale (this was his first movie) especially in "Empire of the Sun".
I don't know this movie (also aired as mini series) about the Russian history yet and have to check it again.
Also starring Omar Sharif as Czar Nicholas II, Olivia de Havilland, Jan Niklas and Elke Sommer. Book by Peter Kurth. Running time 200 minutes.
Not sure about this movie and the amounts of sailor suit scenes, probably few or medium. Probably I won't buy it on DVD unless I know of perfect scenes. Rating 6-7 for now.
Correction: I think this scenes are set in 1916, not 1918.
