-Comment: 13 or 14 yo Hayley Mills (pictured) as 12 yo Pollyanna in at least 2 different sailor dresses. White collars and a silly looking hat. Also some other kids (girls only?) in sailor dresses or similar (pic bottom right) and of course others (grown ups) in historical clothing of the 1910s. And a ~ 9 yo boy Jimmy in bib overalls (see also my other blog, also rating 5).

Quite good movie with historical setting, but with an annoying orphaned girl. Though quite interesting clothing and plot. Mills won a Juvenile Award and was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award.

The movie is 134 minutes long and there is even an earlier b&w and some later versions and one animated and one live action series. I have to check the other versions too, but this is the most famous movie. Novel by Eleanor H. Porter. Also starring Karl Malden as a preacher.
