Unknown 23= Jean le Bleu (1979)

I found and uploaded a clip of this very rare French TV movie. I don't have the complete one. Set in 1905.

Mentioned here with one screenshot I found earlier in my collection. I haven't found any pics nor clips online.

And another missing post. 12 episodes. In ep 12 about Germany is 19 yo Philipp Schmitze-Elsen "Die Jungs-WG" in longer Lederhosen, also others, mainly or only men. Probably at the Oktoberfest.

Pic from 25. April 2018. Rating was 3. On IMDb he's credited as Schmitze-Eisen.

On my other blog I have him and Louisa in overalls in Das erste mal... USA! and ... Asien.

Update: Die Jungs-WG - Ein Monat ohne Eltern

Not a lost post, but pic was missing. So a re-upload. Rating was 4 (for Lederhosen). Was on my bedroom blog rating 6. Very good documentary and talk of them. Plot rating 9. Note that there are different seasons with different teens. This is about season 3.

The pic was from Jan 2018. But the post from 2/2015. I don't remember why. Probably a re-broadcasting and I made new caps in 2018, mainly for my other blog.

Update: Almost Angels (1962) Lederhosen

 

I have roughly checked the full movie. Quite disappointing and rather few sailor suit scenes, one is at the end. At 53 minutes I found this scene with a boy in grey Lederhosen or shorts with suspenders. I think also another boy in longer, brown Lederhosen? Mainly or only from a distance. The image quality is quite poor and I can't identify the fabric.

Not bad, very good sailor suit, but I think very few scenes.

So rating ~4 only.

Maybe there are some more episodes. I haven't checked them all. 

One very good episode is s5e4-e7 Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1986) starring Patrick Day. Probably no overalls, maybe sailor suits or at least similar? Also the cross-dressing scene with Huck in a dress.

Maybe also of interest: s10e2 The Grapes of Wrath (1991).

After having found the NBC Live Theater play The Member of the Wedding (1982), other blog rating 7-8 with a boy in shortalls, I searched for more NBC plays and only found this one.

Quite interesting collars but the boy in the real suit is very young. Also starring William Hurt.

i also found the 1971 version, coming soon (very few scenes). 1960 play by Tad Mosel. More famous is the 1963 b&w movie.

 

Ein Stück Tirol im Urwald - Die vergessene Heimat

Some, mainly older boys from Peru in long, brown Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. Including dancing scenes but I haven't seen Schuhplattler.

This documentary has been aired yesterday on bibel.tv. I only have seen some few parts and didn't make pics. Boys are not that handsome. 

Rating ~2-3 for now only.

2 episodes have recently been aired (Dec 18). I haven't seen them completely. In the 1969 color episode "Weihnachts Traditionen" there were at least 2 boys in very long buckskin Lederhosen.

Sorry, I haven't made pics and I haven't found them online (not even on the mediathek).

There might be even better episodes. But probably mainly grown-ups  (as shown on the few clips on the web).

There are several other alpha-retro episodes on the mediathek but mainly b&w and few Lederhosen scenes. One is "Links und rechts vom Glockenbach" (very young boy in Lederhosen and Tyrolean hat, b&w).

Update: Road to Avonlea

I think I had several updates of this series (on both blogs). There are many kids, mainly girls in sailor-style dresses but mainly not in real blue sailor collars. Except some few like a 15 yo girl (see main entry). A young boy in a white collar, I think Kyle Labine in season 2 (rear view in main entry). One teen boy with a flying up dark blue sailor collar and suit in season 7 (ep So Dear to My Heart) might be Zachary Bennett. Kids in bathing costumes (ep Return to Me), some with sailor collars, in season 7 too. Also other historical clothes like knickers and of course overalls. Zachary Bennett in pajamas in s1e13 (was on my bedroom blog). I think no need for posting all pics (mainly girls).
