-Comment: Cornelia Froboess (pictured) in a white/blue sailor dress (also in a red dress with white collar (no sailor dress) and a red bathing costume), at least 2 boys ~10-11 ys in light blue striped, short sailor suits, blue collars, 3 stripes, one without dickey), white flat sailor hats, and at least one younger boy in a short white sailor suit and I think also girls ~8-12. Also boys in breeches, cycling scenes and a freckled boy ~11 ys.
Also of course a lot of others in historical clothing set in Berlin of 1912, some in mostly striped bathing costumes, women with umbrellas etc.
I have only seen the first half of this movie and it's quite good, though I think only 2 rather short good sailor suit scenes of the kids. Novel by Kurt Tucholski, also starring Christian Wolff, Anita Kupsch and Werner Hinz.
Ernst Lubitsch Award for Froboess.
I have to check it completely and hope for a soon broadcasting. Rating 6 for now. There is also an East German remake in 1987 (IMDb says 1990), but I have to check this as well. That's a TV movie and I haven't found any pics or vids yet.
