On TV this eveing. Along some few other  movies and documentaries an today's theme day on 3sat. Maybe the documentary Hüttengeschichten  (I think I've seen a young woman in Lederhosen or shorts in a preview) or the movie "Gletscherblut" is of interest too, but I don't think so.

Also already completely on YouTube. I only noticed this very brief scene with an outdoor party at 1h04.

Typical modern Heimatfilm and drama. Very few (good) Lederhosen scenes.

So rating 3 for now only. Coming next "Hirschhausens Quiz des Menschens" with 3 boys in Lederhosen (brief b&w clip set in the 60s rating 3, see also my entry on my overalls blog).

-Comment: Bobby 'Wheezer' Hutchins (1925-1945) in a sailor suit. Long light blue or similar collar, no dickey underneath, in an unknow Our Gang/Little Rascals movie, and brother of Spanky with a sailor suit collar (private family footage scenes).

Has just been aired. Very interesting documentary about movie maker Hal Roach. Most of it showing Laurel and Hardy, Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton and others. Some few scenes of Our Gang and only this brief scene of interest. (Also Buckwheat in bib overalls, but he's very young, so no need for an entry on my other blog). Also Laurel and Hardy in bib overalls, also colorized scenes. Interesting that these kids have to act in other languages like French as well.

I also have some other entries of Our Gang and Laurel & Hardy on this and my other blogs.

I have to recheck for other episodes and episode titles and colorized versions. I hope for soon rebroadcastings.

-Comment: At leat one blond boy in a blue/white sailor suit. Medium blue matching scarf. Pants 3/4 th length. Scenes at 22 and 40 minutes.

English title "An Unusual Summer", Russian title "Необыкновенное лето". Filmed in 1956. IMDb says b&w movie. Sequel to "Pervye radosti" (I think no sailor suit scenes there). Novel by Konstatin Fedin. There is also a 1979 TV movie/series in 3 parts (I think a prequel and no sailor suit scenes either).

Good scene with an arm over the shoulder and sailor collar. But I think nothing more of interest. Brief scenes

-Comment: A young boy called Klausi and I think an a bit older boy in buckskin Lederhosen with suspenders. Also at least one young boy in buckskin Lederhosen without suspenders.

Had been aired yesterday. I missed most of this movie and checked some more parts today. Most scenes in the middle of the movie (38+ minutes) and the end. But I noticed only rather few scenes and most of them from a distance.

Also a girl, a boy (around 10 yo) and some men in bib overalls what is a bit better (rating 4 soon on my overalls blog). Also some quite good bedroom scenes (dorm at an orphanage, looks very modern) and at home at a boy, but probably no need for an entry at my bedroom blog (although 2 kids show in one wooden bed).

First I wasn't sure about the setting. First I thought in the 40s after WWII, then the 50s, but it's rural Bavaria of the mid  60s. Very colorful images, and almost like a modern Heimatfilm. But quite boring typical drama and romance, however a quite interesting plot. Few kids and Lederhosen scenes.

So rating 3-4 for now. I have to recheck it the next broadcasting. Available online at zdf mediathek. I don't have the time to watch it completely. Very slow to skip forward.

 

Johanna - Köchin aus Leidenschaft

-Comment: At least Matthias Kofler in a  hooded sweater, looks almost like a sailor suit. Very light blue and even with white stripes and a red scarf. Combined with blue jeans.

I also later found a publicity pic with him in a dark (black?) traditional suit with a string tie, but not in Lederhosen (maybe some other supporting actors or men?)

Unfortunately I missed most of this movie but it seems nothing special. And this is no real sailor suit but still quite interesting (usually I don't add other than real sailor suits).

Not a typical/real Heimatfilm. Rather a typical (quite boring) family movie. There are better ones and he's quite young and I remember only few scenes with him.

Also starring Anja Kruse and Jenny Jürgens.

For now rating 2-3. But I have to recheck it.

Vater braucht eine Frau (1952)

Felix suggested a movie called "Vater sucht eine Frau" on my overalls blog. I found a women here in an overalls-like dress but he obviously meant a boy in the unrelated 2002 movie.

I think the 1953 movie is quite rare and not available on DVD.

So I can't say much more yet and only found some short clips.

Young boy (oplaying an 11 yo but looking much younger), so rating 3-4 for now only. I have to recheck it the next broadcasting.
