Briefly checked. Another episodes are set in 1942 and 1970. But I think no Lederhosen or other clothes of interest.

Rating 3-4. Boys in dresses are rare. 

Mario und der Zauberer

Another missing post. 1994 movie, Austria, France, Germany, set in the 1920s. Both pics from 23. Oct 2019. English title Mario and the Magician.

Pic 1 is probably a girl, I think Mario Schweser. Maybe pic 2 as well? Also a lady. Also bathing costumes and less. Also starring boys, but obviously I didn't noticed any in sailor suits.

Starring and directed by Klaus-Maria Brandauer. Novel by Thomas Mann. Boy actor Jan Wachtel (pic 1 on right ?).

Rating was probably 3 or less likely 4.

Nesthäkchen – update 4b

 

Not a lost post but the second last posts in January 2018. I haven't re-uploaded these pics then as I had some others (f/m including both in Lederhosen). Pics 1+3 I posted on the Happy New Year post as the series was rebroadcasted. Pic 1 showing Kurt (in a wheelchair, not in a sailor suit in a later episode). Pic 2 I think from ep 4 (Christmas scene) younger brother, my favorite actor here. Also in a blue sailor suit and longer Lederhosen.

The other pics (originally from update 4) are from a beach scene with some other actors f/m. Different sailor suits and collars.

Very brief scene at the end, also a brief rear view. Women in sailor-style dresses. Also  Ellen Burstyn and maybe men or boys in bib overalls (at least a toddler boy), other blog rating 4.

I only have checked this briefly. The vid is in very poor image quality. (There are some publicity pics in better quality but b&w.

Many supporting actors, maybe some more. At least historical clothes. But for this brief scene rating ~3.

Also some other boys in historical clothes/knickers. Also a lady with a large collar. Other boys are Robby Kiger (*1973) and Gregory Brown.

After having found the NBC Live Theater play The Member of the Wedding (1982), other blog rating 7-8 with a boy in shortalls, I searched for more NBC plays and only found this one.

Quite interesting collars but the boy in the real suit is very young. Also starring William Hurt.

i also found the 1971 version, coming soon (very few scenes). 1960 play by Tad Mosel. More famous is the 1963 b&w movie.

Not sure about their names. Also men in long leather aprons.

Set in Berlin in the 1880s. Starring Günther Pfitzmann and Wolfgang Völz. 

Interesting series, I think I have seen that in 1979. Unfortunately few scenes. Pic from ep 5. Another scene in ep 7 (dining). I think only full view in ep 5. Novel by Erdmann Graeser.

Nice setting, dialect and actors, but for the few scenes I can only give rating 4. I also prefer longer collars. Hair-style (of the boys) looks also more like the 1970s.

Setting is modern. So very few scenes.

Rating 2-3.

Update: Das Haus in Montevideo (1963)

 

This Heinz Rühmann movie set in 1924 has recently been re-aired. Next to almost sailor style clothes with old sailor's caps with a pom-pom, there are also real sailor clothes near the end (pic 1), also some few kids in sailor suits in the background in the middle of the movie. Also 2 sailor men on the ship (white and dark blue suits). The scene of the earlier pic, there's a girl in a blue sailor dress (white lace collar) and a lady in a blue dress with sailor collar.

12 kids, all sleeping in one room (attic). Not sure if I had this on my bedroom blog. But I divided up boys and girls, so around just ~6 brothers.

Rather few good scenes, interesting clothes, but a rather poor Rühmann film. Also nice pigtails including loops. There's a spanking plot but not shown.

English title: Dreaming Youth. Main character is a 12 yo Herbert played by 13 yo Zoltan Csoma.

Rating ~3-4. Rather few scenes near the end. I only have checked this briefly.

Nesthäkchen – update 4

Some more pics of Nesthäkchen.

Nice scenes of different sailor suits on a beach, including a fighting scene. One collar is flying up. Also a lady in a sailor collar. One collar is rectangled at front (I already had him). 2 collars are dark blue, one has 4 stripes.

Nice Christmas scenes (both brothers in sailor suits) and Annemarie also with another collar, round at front (pic 3 from ep 4). Also nice caps and other historical clothes.

Update: Die Feuerzangenbowle (1944)

Has been aired recently but this time, I have only watched the beginning and later checked it and found one more scene of boys in sailor suits and also a lady.

Pic 1 at 44 minutes, pic 2 at 11 minutes, pic 3  at 1h18. But all scenes are rather short and from a distance. I don't like this movie. Most students are very old. New tag: hats.
