-Comment: A young boy (Wilfried) in a long white sailor suits, blue collar, 2 stripes (pictured, from ep 1), mostly in b&w. Maybe other boys and girls in sailor suits or similar clothing.  A young boy called Ernstchen in Lederhosen with suspenders (pic from ep 5, but also shown earlier) and at least one teen boy in buckskin Lederhosen (Hermann?), pic bottom from episode 9, also with love scenes. I don't know the name of all the actors by now. I have to verify all that. Sequels in 1993 and 2004. Produced by Edgar Reitz. Complete trilogy on 18 DVDs. Episodes (at least from 1st series) are a mixture of color and b/w scenes. Scenes obviously of the 1910s/1920s, so must be early episodes. International title: Heimat: A chronicle of Germany.

Originally I had here 3 pics of another series "Väter und Söhne - Eine deutsche Tragödie" with a similar boy. I had some unlabeled scenes on VHS.

I still have to check both series, but they are very long.
Downgrading from rating 9 to 7-8. Also not sure about spanking scenes in Heimat, but it's possible.
