This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

German Heimatfilm starring Heinz Rühmann
-Year: 1953
-Year in film: 1950s
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boys ~5-12 ys, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2:
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, partly TV recording
-Clothing occurence: often ?
-Rating: 8/10
-Rating: ********
-Comment: Some boys in buckskin Lederhosen (with Patina), not sure if also smooth finish. I think on the left must be Wolfgang Condrus with Rühmann in the middle (they were also sitting on the ground and also cycling in Lederhosen). Later also in cotton shorts. Good film and also good plot about a postman who becomes rich; I only have some scenes left on my DVD recorder, not sure if I have somewhere the complete film on DVD. I would even buy this DVD if this film wasn't often shown on TV. Rühmann (1902-1994) is very famous but I don't like him much. I prefer comedians like Heinz Erhardt.
