-Comment: Paolo Pavesi (pictured) in white sailor suit and straw hat. Blue collar with 4 white stripes. Long cuffed up pants. Short stockings. Oh yes, I like this film. Originially I searched for films and thought about the time 1920s, 1910s, 1900s and then I had to think about this film. Uncut length 317 minutes, rated R (cut version), later also unrated. Some erotic content. I have watched this film for the first time in it's original language in the late 1980s. And only few times since. Many parts are on YouTube in different languages, but might be missing some parts or not being the uncut version. It's worth buying the DVD, but I still don't own it. Just the best scenes on VHS. Later in part 2 starring Gérard Depardieu and Robert de Niro as grown up main characters. I have seen a pic of a woman which looks also like wear a sailor dress or at least with similar collar or shirt. I have to check the complete film again and hope for a soon broadcasting. I think most will know this epic film and I don't have to tell much about it. 2 friends, one rich (Alfredo) one poor (Olmo, pictured right) in 1900-1945. Film aka "1900" and Nineteen Hundred. But I remember few sailor suit scenes. Film is extremely good (at least part 1), though lengthy, but for sailor suit scenes "only" rating 8.
