-Comment: A young boy (pictured) in light brown sailor suit with white collar with 2 blue stripes. I don't know his name. The movie poster showing a red sailor suit and is obviously a colorized b/w photo. I wonder why's that. There is a brief scene with a girl in a red sailor dress or else in a courtroom, but no close up scenes and it's the boy on the poster. One pair of pants looking a bit longer (so tag breeches). Typical movie of the 1940s (at least in color) and typical (but good) plot about orphans / a Children's Home in Texas (though real biography of Edna Gladney (Garson)). Also starring Walter Pidgeon and lots of uncredited grown ups and kids. Novel by Ralph Wheelwright. Few sailor suit scenes at the end of the film. And the boy is very young. I have seen this complete film (at high speed). So rating 2 only. I found this movie poster by coincidence searching for a b/w movie with sailor suits and I found some more films which are coming soon.
