-Comment: A young boy in white sailor suit, blue collar and hat, long scarf, long white pants (pictured), is this Klaas Jan Weert as Frits? And possibly some men in sailor suits. Famous novel by Maltatuli (Eduard Douwes Dekker), published 1860. Seems to be a very good film, unfortunately I don't know it yet completely. But I assume few good scenes. Film aka "Max Havelaar: Or the Coffee Auctions of the Dutch Trading Company" or just "Max Havelaar" and is about colonial policy and coffee. Won Bodil Awards for best European film, also starring Rutger Hauer, Peter Faber and others. I like Dutch films, filmed mainly in Indonesia (Java?), 163 minutes. Rating 5 for now.
