-Comment: Scotty Beckett (1929-1968) in dark sailor suit. This was the first US sailor suit pic which I found by coincidence 2 days ago searching for an overalls movie. I found a photo on allstarpics.net and don't know from what film. Scotty Beckett did a lot of films, but I found this pic with title underneath on a stock photo site. Those vintage photographs, movie posters and lobby card are copyrighted and even sold nowadays (even in digital form) so I don't add those copyrighted pics from Getty and others.
This film is obviously very rare. No trailers or clips and although a 1930s film probably not into Public Domain (renewed?, copyright of novel was also renewed in 1961.) So I don't know this movie and hope to see it at some time. Novel by Arthur Somers Roche. Some (text) infos about the plot at tcm. Boy is very young, but I will also check other films with him. If someone knows this film or can even submit a (selfmade) pic or trailer, please comment.
One colorized lobby card pic is at

Another film starring Scotty Beckett is "Heaven Can Wait (1943)", see that entry, including pic, ratin 5/10.
