Prinz Alexander Ferdinand von Preußen (*1912) |
Yesterday I noticed by coincidence that there were many clicks on my vintage pics, much more than postviews. (And even more than the original source pic).
Each of the crown prince pics in Lederhosen has 235 x viewed but there were only 11 postviews of the info 53 post. My longest collar retouched pic has 59 hits, but 1 postview only. The rest might have found this on Picasa or Google search. Not sure if people like those pics. Or prefer movie entries. But I assume that most would like download links or perfect pics anyway.
Many of the recent pics have many hits (about 200-300), also sailor suit pics, while many older pics just have 50-100. Obviously it depends on what is on top at Google image search.
Some very good pics (Rick Schroder) or even Lederhosen pics have <50 hits, others like Feriengewitter has 768 (535 postviews), but Mädel aus dem Böhmerwald just has 535 hits and more postviews (729). And it's also not only the top viewed postviews or the thumbnails. My blog title pic has 5900 hits, all pageviews are 22000. I often have only about 1-5 postviews each day (some >10), the recent Lederhosen pic had 35 hits (3 postviews).
There are some more (also with both princes in Lederhosen) and they are hard to find if someone just search for pics of the princes because there are many pics, mostly without Lederhosen. Not sure if they are all in the Public Domain.
I've also added 2 links at info 53 with postcard blogs.
