-Comment: A teen boy in white sailor suit (not sure, maybe Charlie Leuken or Charlie van Leuken as Jan, pictured left), a younger boy (maybe even his brother Tommy van Leuken) at pic right with striped shirt but different pants and a girl (Claire, maybe their sister in real life) in green sailor dress. I think also grown up sailors in suits and boys in short pants/breeches. Also a younger blond boy at the beach in white shirt, but not real sailor suits. And at least a woman in sailor suit similar dress. Lots of good historical clothings and hats.
That's probably the latest film featuring sailor suits of the 1920s. Plot is about a love between a man from Suriname and an older woman from the Netherlands. Based up a true story, novel by Annejet van der Zijl. I don't know the complete movie yet, but looks very good. As the kids are not the main characters I assume medium or fewer sailor suit scenes. I think the plot is set during 1928 and 1933. Hopefully this will be also broadcasted on TV soon. Rating 8 for now. Not to be confused with Sunny Boy (2011).
