This is a lost movie, so please don't ask if I have it or know where to get it. The pic is taken from the documentary "Die Sprache der Schatten" which is on some DVD versions of "Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (1922)", in  Germany the deluxe box. There are some stills of this (and other movies of Murnau) shown, 2 pics with this boy. Not sure if there are some more stills or even short clips available somewhere. There is also a real boy acting similar to that of the painting.

Silent movie, 54 minutes, aka "Der Todessmaragd" and "The Boy in Blue". Based on the 1770s painting The Blue Boy by Thomas Gainsborough and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Starring Ernst Hofmann and Blandine Ebinger. First movie of Murnau.

I don't know the name of the boy actor (uncredited at IMDb), maybe Eugen as Rudolf. And I can't say much more about this movie. Looks quite interesting. Also the plot about an emerald hidden in a castle. Rating 4-5.

I also have to check the many other versions of Dorian Gray movies. Looks like good period movies.
