Pic top left from ep. 2, pic below from episode 37 (4.3) boy also in breeches. Haven't noticed any kids in sailor suits.
This is the first movie I found of the mentioned period series list 2 posts ago. I don't know this complete series but looks quite good. Novels by Flora Thompson. Starring Olivia Hallinan, Julia Savalha and John Dagleish. The series won a TRIC Award. Good setting and historical clothings including hats, but no real sailor suits. I have to check again but can't rate higher than 2 or 3 for now.
