-Comment: I think Adrian Heidenreich as young Klaus (pictured) in buckskin Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. I remember few scenes. Also some scenes with speedos. One good and funny scene how 2 boys (he and Martin Mitdank ("Schloss Einstein") made a contest about place in a bunk bed who can pee the fathest. (Heidenreich in Lederhosen, Mitdank in other pants). I don't like this film (except for this short scene). I think most parts are with grown ups and about the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Famous novel by Thomas Brussig ("Sonnenallee", see also that entry which I like more). This film is being aired today on German channel BR. Also starring Gojko Mitic and Achim Mentzel. International title: "Heroes Like Us". Book and film cover depicting private parts of a male statue (as the foreskin is part of the plot of the fall of the Berlin Wall). I think the novel is a bit different than the film. I even considered buying the novel some years ago, but I didn't (because of this cover).
