This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

-Who in clothing 2:

-Rating: *****
-Comment: A young boy in short pants, maybe buckskin Lederhosen, but could also be of cotton. Suspenders not visible, maybe underneath the jacket. One and very brief scene in the background (supporting actor). Probably some (very) old men in Lederhosen. No Schuhplattler or else. Also a young girl acting, but of course not in Lederhosen.
Film aka just "Die Landärztin (1958)", aired one week ago. The movie itself is also nothing special. Typical Heimatfilm/comedy/doctor film. I have already deleted it except this scene. Story by Karl Morgenstern, also starring Rudolf Prack, Beppo Brem and Willy Millowitsch (I remeber also few scenes with Millowitsch).
Film is a bit better. No clips.
Update: Now I have seen this movie once more and there are some boys in buckskin Lederhosen, one shirtless, one with suspenders, but not H-style suspenders, doing hay work (but in the distance). Later also one very young boy in Lederhosen with H-style suspenders walking with his mom. I wonder why I previously missed those scenes. But only few and brief scenes. Also few or no men in Lederhosen, no Schuhplatter and else. Rather a comedy film than a Heimatfilm. I'm not sure how I should rate this. A handsome blond boy in Lederhosen (supporting actor), but no good close-up scenes.
Originally rated 1-2, now 4-5. Could be worse.
