-Year: 1977
-Year in film: 1900s ??
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boy ~11 ys, men, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: altar boys, historical clothing
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: very low
-Rating:  3/10 *
-Rating: ***
-Comment: I only noticed one boy in black or dark buckskin Lederhosen in the background (pictured). I can't even say if they are short or longer Lederhosen. Lots of young men in Lederhosen, especially getting wet at the beginning of this movie. Also 2 altar boys in red/white. I like these altar boys clothing almost looking like sailor suits. Here also outside with a good combination of green color of the background.

Very good Heimatfilm, second remake, first filmed in 1939. Not sure about the year of setting. Due to the clothing (hats) either 1900s or 1930s but rather earlier. Based on the novel after famous author Ludwig Ganghofer. Unlike most Heimatfilms not set in the 1950s.

Starring Uschi Glas, Siegfried Rauch and Ralf Wolter.

Interesting and dramatic plot; unusual setting, very good landscape scenes. Unfortunately very few, no notable boys in Lederhosen scenes. I have seen this film twice recently on TV. I think I have to check the other versions as well.

Due to few kids in Lederhosen (no girls, no teens, no Schuhplattler and else), rating 3 only. English title "Forest Intoxication" (1939 film Forest Fever).
