-Comment: Men and some few quite young boys in buckskin Lederhosen, probably only at the end of this movie. Perhaps 6-10ys or younger. Singing "Hoch droben auf dem Berg". There is also a 1957 color movie with that title (which also needs an entry here, but I haven't found any clips of that).
After the operetta by Carl Zeller and film aka "Der Vogelhändler" (The Bird Seller). Remake of 1935 that is aka Die Christl von der Post.
Directed by Géza von Bolváry, starring Johannes Heesters, Hans Moser, Theo Lingen and Hans Holt. Maybe interesting historical uniforms and some funny scenes.
I have only checked some parts of this movie. I think I don't like those military films. Obviously few Lederhosen scenes. So rating only 2 for now.
