-Comment: A young boy in blue sailor suit, (maybe a short one?) and some teen girls/women in sailor dresses ~3 (2 in blue ones 1 in white one) at the end of the film. I don't know the name of the actors.

I don't like this film. I have seen it completely several times, but last time some years ago. Today I missed some parts and watching and recording partly something else. I usually don't watch films I don't like, but I saw some pics of the women and so I tried to watch and record as much as possible. I remembered mostly the older pupils (grown ups). There is also at least one scene with younger boys singing (I think some also in quite short pants, maybe breeches or similar, but I think nobody in Lederhosen, see clip). At least one boy in this sailer suit, but very short scene.

This film is very famous and the novel was written by Heinrich Spoerl about the grown up Rühmann playing again a school boy. But as I said I don't like it. And few good sailor suit scenes. So rating only 3. Sorry. There's a quite good color Heimatfilm starring Heinz Rühmann ("Briefträger Müller" rating 8/10 and a b/w film "Der Pauker" rating 9/10, see that entries).
I have problems finding Briefträger Müller (not with the title not with Rühmann). Yet another Google error. So use tag rating 8 and read my search tip on my other blog.

For the 1970 color remake starring Walter Giller, see the new entry, rating 5.
