-Comment: I think this is Kathryn Grayson (1922-2010) in a white sailor dress. And according to her official homepage also in dark (blue) sailor dress and other clothing. Sorry I haven't seen this movie completely and have to check it.

Also some famous boy actors starring at least one in bib overalls and knickerbockers (see my other blog, rating 7). And also other interesting historical clothing of younger girls and maybe other actors (see clip).

After novel by Rebecca Yancey Williams, also starring Frank Morgan, Scotty Beckett, Dickie Jones, Charles Bates and others. Filmed in 1941 and officially available as DVD-R from Warner Bros. archive series.
