Heimatfilm part 3, starring Roland Kaiser
-Year: 1957
-Year in film: ~1957
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boys ~6-15 , Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: speedos
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurrence: very low
-Rating: 5/10
-Rating: *****
-Comment: Some boys in Lederhosen, mostly younger boys also in buckskin traditional Lederhosen with suspenders in the background. This are the best scenes with a teen boy in obviously smooth finish or almost Lederhosen (pic top in the middle and a younger boy 2nd pic on left). Also boys in speedos like in the film 2 (different age), maybe even same actors, but could be better. Again riding scenes (partly in cowboy clothes, long pants). Also starring ~10 yo a bit chubby Roland Kaiser (sadly not in Lederhosen, but other thin striped longer blue shorts, also riding in them. No main actor in Lederhosen.
This scene filmed in Lübeck as they advertise the ranch hotel Immenhof. Song dubbed by the boys choir Schöneberger Sängerknaben. However good children's song.
The best until now is still the first film. Die Mädels vom Immenhof, rating 9 (teen girl+boys in Lederhosen, undressing scenes of both). For more infos about this film series see that entry (blog search Immenhof). There are 2 more movies but filmes in the 70s (still the same actors).
For one more pic of Roland Kaiser see

This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

Ferien auf Immenhof
Ich kauf' mir lieber einen Tirolerhut
Heimatfilm starring Hannelore Auer
-Year: 1965
-Year in film: 1960s
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boys ~6, 11 ys, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: men, women, Lederhosen
-Available on DVD: no
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: very low
-Rating: 4/10
-Rating: ****
-Comment: One very young black boy in buckskin Lederhosen, some boys in the background sitting in Lederhosen (pictured), all with suspenders, and one other boy in beige shorts or Lederhosen, brief scene, pic below (suspenders not shown, jacket) and most notable 4 young women in Lederhosen-like tight shorts and one young woman in real black buckskin Lederhosen (pictured).
Quite good or typical Heimatfilm, good landscape, unfortunately with rather no notable good Lederhosen scenes (except for the women, which is quite rare as this is not one of those erotic German "Lederhosenfilme" of the 70s).
Also starring Billy Mo, Gus Backus and Christiane Rücker. Not to be confused with "Übermut im Salzkammergut" wich is much better (rating 8) with teen boys in Lederhosen, also featuring Billy Mo with this famous title song .
Rating 3-4 only. Can be watched again online at das-vierte.de within 7 days .Obviously not available on DVD nor VHS and no trailer/clips.

Info 84: Updates, sailor collar list
As announced I updated my list of longest, favourite and unusual collars. Pic on top showing my TOP 10 of longest collars. Showing from top left: Lord Jeff, Tante Frieda, The Sound of Music, David Copperfield, Romanovy: Ventsenosnaya semya, Väter und Söhne, La Promesa, Die Trapp Familie, Enfances, Little Lord Fauntleroy (1980). For more see the list on
List 12: sailor suit collars
Some films have only few sailor suit scenes (or I know only the front of the collar). I still have to check e.g. "Der ganz große Traum" with teen boys in sailor suits. I checked some parts and added 1 pic.
Der ganz große Traum

Liebesgrüße aus Tirol
Heimatfilm starring PeterWeck
-Year: 1964
-Year in film: 1960s
-Country: Austria
-Who in clothing: boy ~6 ys, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: other boy, men, Lederhosen
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: very low
-Rating: 2/10
-Rating: **
-Comment: One very young boy in long Lederhosen (looks even like much patina or smooth finish leather) and a Tyrolean hat (pictured on left, no better views and only this short scene). Also one or some few other, a bit older boys in buckskin Lederhosen with suspenders (pic right, front in the middle). As well as a lot of (older) men in black longer Lederhosen. I remember also some older teen boys in speedos, but I don't like that either.
I mentioned this movie some days ago. Very few Lederhosen scenes almost no notable. The movie is also not perfect. Though some famous actors like Peter Weck, Gitte Haenning, Gunther Philipp and of course Franz Muxeneder. Available on DVD and featuring lot of songs of Gitte, but who would like it? No Schuhplattler and rather few good landscape scenes. Some few funny scenes (of Gunther Philipp).
Rating 1-2.

Info 83: Update: Sennerin von St. Kathrein, Blechtrommel, Sonny Boy
As announced an update of Die Sennerin von St. Kathrein (pictured, starring Harry Kratz, rating 8). Even more boy actors in Lederhosen than thought (+4, one appears like smooth finish leather) but rather few to medium scenes. And also a "spanking scene" as Kratz hits another boy in Lederhosen and sitting on him (pictured). Also a short Watschnplattler. For more see the entry (2 additional pics) at
Die Sennerin von St. Kathrein
I also have updated "Die Blechtrommel" (rating 4) including 2 new better pics. I had a bad pic and didn't knew if the collar is long but it's sort of. The new small preview video in YouTube under the main vid is very handy, so you can scroll to a complete movie very fast. So rather few sailor suit scenes. Leaving rating 4 for them.
Die Blechtrommel
Also a minor update of "Sonny Boy (2011)" (no new pics). Very good sailor suit of the teen boy, but I think very few scenes, no backside of collar. But I noticed men in sailor suits and a black boy in rare green scout clothes. Rating 8.
Sonny Boy (2011)
I also have ordered Fanny och Alexander. But that will take some time to watch 5 hours.

The Philadelphia Experiment (1984)
Drama /Sci-Fi starring Michael Paré
-Year: 1984
-Year in film: 1943
-Country: USA
-Who in clothing: men ~26 ys, sailor suits
-Who in clothing 2:
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: low
-Rating: 4/10
-Rating: ****
-Comment: Some young sailors from the US Navy in 1943 in dark blue sailor suits, mainly at a short dancing scene at the beginning . Long blue collars, 3 stripes and 2 stars at the edges. White dickeys.
I had a lot of Lederhosen entries last time, so one sailor suit entry in between. Quite good scenes in this film, as I like long collars. Unfortunately obviously only very few scenes at the beginning. Later there is a time travel to the present (1984). And the rest of the film is boring.
Rated PG and based on a true story, also starring Nancy Allen, Eric Christmas and Bobby Di Cicco.
Rating 3-4. There is a 1993 sequel as well as an upcoming 2012 film which I also both have to check.
Coming next: An update of "Die Sennerin von St. Kathrein". I also will make a huge update soon of sailor suit movies including lots of new pics and one pic showing the backside of the TOP 10 longest and favourite collars.

Du mein stilles Tal
Heimatfilm starring Curd Jürgens
-Year: 1955
-Year in film: 1950s
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boy ~10 ys, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: woman collar, boys shorts
-Available on DVD: VHS
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: very low
-Rating: 2/10
-Rating: **
-Comment: One young boy in buckskin Lederhosen with suspenders (pictured), I don't know his name. Also I think only one short scene of a boy at the beginning in the distance. Bad view in short Lederhosen with a jacket from behind. Men in breeches, one woman (probably Winnie Markus, on right) in a medium blue dress and a quite good, not squared white but short collar but no need for tagging this.
The first Heimatfilm this week. I don't like this at all. Good actors, but only few landscape scenes. No Schuhplattler or else. I hav not even noticed good scenes of men in Lederhosen. Most (or all) of the movie is boring. On VHS only.
Starring Curd Jürgens, Bernhard Wicki, Paul Hörbiger and Winnie Markus. Film aka "Erbe der Väter", "Schweigepflicht" and "Geheimnis einer Ehe". No real trailer except for the intro song. No need for a clip either.
Rating 1-2 only.
Update: Had been aired again. Also boys at different age in short white tennis shorts and shirts. Also doing tricks on a horse.

Hochzeit auf Immenhof
Heimatfilm part 2
-Year: 1956
-Year in film: 1956
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boy ~11 ys, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: cowboy pants, speedos, Lederhosen
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: very low
-Rating: 3/10
-Rating: ***
-Comment: One boy in medium brown short buckskin Lederhosen without suspenders (pictured getting glacé pumped in front of his mouth). Also some few kids in Lederhosen with suspenders (few and background scenes only). Also a lot of kids dressed like cowboys and Indians at the beginning, mostly long pants, maybe buckskin as well, some shorts, also sitting, but no close up views. Also riding in Lederhosen, maybe also young girls (could be boys) with short hair. But no good scenes either. Some quite good speedo and shirtless scenes (teens and preteens). Riding clothes (tag breeches). The only real good scene is the one pictured on top left after about 30 minutes.
As announced an entry of this sequel (part 2 of 5). Unlike the first movie ("Die Mädels vom Immenhof", rating 9, see that entry) the main teen characters (boys, girls) are now (looking) much older, nearly grown up now. No Lederhosen scenes nor sailor dress scenes of them. However a lot of other kids, but sadly very few Lederhosen scenes.
The plot is also a bit weaker, and rather few to medium scenes of the kids. The plot is about loosing their ranch "Immenhof" and a sudden marriage at the end.
Rating 2-3 only. For more infos about this series see the entry of part 1.
Info 82: Fanny och Alexander - Director's cut 3xBD
There are a lot of different versions.
The best is no doubt the 3 BD set (region A and now maybe a region B as well)
The Finnish BD has the film only (Swedish and at least different subtitles like English, but not German). The UK RC2 5xDVD set has fixed subtitles, the German 5xDVD set has bad image quality (not remastered like the other DVDs) and no original audio. Here is an image comparison of the BD, (the movie version also has different colors)
http://caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleiche/comparison.php?cID=782
There is a Spanish region B BD which is already available in Spain (label cameo) The cover is of the series, but according to cameo 180 minutes only. On one image it says pelicula (=film) but there is another pic without that.
Cameo also has 2 different DVDs, one 4x DVD set (same cover) should also only has 180 minutes but on ebay it says film + series. However Spanish and Swedish language only, no subtitles. Not sure about the image quality and length (series should be 292 min. "only") Also not sure if everywhere is the documentary included.
Hard choice. Maybe there are some other foreign editions as well, or I'll wait or buy the German DVD set. If someone knows a region B BD of the series, please comment.
Info 81: New Lederhosen pics
I found these 2 PD Lederhosen pics on Wikimedia commons (not categorized as Lederhosen), one with a sailor suit (Prince Hubertus of Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha) and another good (copyrighted) Lederhosen pic with teens elsewhere. Also one of boys in bib overalls (PD Loc-gov album, FSA, see my other blog). The pics are on top of my Picasa albums as I han't changed the date.
Class photos are another good source for Lederhosen and sailor suit pics. However most might be still copyrighted and people or relatives might be still alive, and there also might be some restrictions of use like personal rights.
Yesterday there were pics in my Google Dashboard, today I see only vids. Also some very old posts appearing. My exclusive pics not showing up in Google image search. Either they are too new, or that's because I uploaded them to picasa and only embed but not linked from there.
The other copyrighted very good Lederhosen pic is this

Nicholas and Alexandra
Czar biography. 2 Oscars
-Year: 1971
-Year in film: ~1916 *
-Country: USA
-Who in clothing: Alexis ~11 ys ?,sailor suit
-Who in clothing 2: men, teen girl, sailor suit, uniforms
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: no
-Clothing occurrence: low?
-Rating: 6/10 ?
-Rating: ******
-Comment: British Roderic Noble (pictured *1957, so 13 or 14 in 1971) as Prince Alexei set in ~1916 or 1917 in a short white sailor suit, blue collar (long neckline frontside), also as usual in uniform. Also a young woman (Lynne Frederick, 1954-1994 as Grand Duchess Tatiana) in a white sailor dress (white collar, 2 blue stripes) and real sailors (white and blue suits), maybe more actors. The boy looks younger, so this might be filmed much earlier. The other Alexei actors of other movies are about 10-11 yo. See also the trailer where he looks a bit older.
As announced another interesting Alexei movie, which can't be found at IMDb using the Alexei character tag. I even found another related movie (coming soon) with at least 2 boys and one girl (not Alexei but I think Romanovs) Maybe there are even more.
Set in 1905 and the 1910s, also starring Michael Jayston as Tsar Nicholas II and Janet Suzman as Tsarina Alexandra. 189 minutes, rated PG.
I haven't checked the film completely as many parts on YouTube had been deleted. But I assume rather few sailor suit scenes. But this scene pictured is very dramatic and touching. He also looks similar like the real Prince.
Rating 5-6 for now. There are probably better Alexei movies/series.

Info 80: On TV week 13, 2012
Hochzeit auf Immenhof (just over) rating 3, coming soon
Liebesgrüße aus Tirol (shortly rebroadcasting) pictured on TOP, also coming soon, rating 2 for now, I missed the beginning last time. Very young boys, I assume only few and short scenes
Du Mein stilles Tal (1955), unsure if Lederhosen scenes MO, Mar 26
Die Sennerin von St. Kathrein (1955), Harry Kratz, rating 8, TUE Mar 27
Der Begdoktor - Bis zum Schluss (2012), unsure if Lederhosen, THU Mar 29
Grün ist die Heide (1951) , unsure if Lederhosen FR Mar 30
Ich kauf mir lieber einen Tirolerhut (1956), man+women in Lederhosen, unsure if kids, not to be confused with "Übermut im Salzkammergut" (1963) rating 8 including a song with that title
I try to watch all of them. List might not be complete

Info 79: Lederhosen dream, stats
About 5 boy actors of "Schloss Einstein" (see both my blogs) in a row. I only recognized young Leon (Daniel Wachowiak) young as in season 5 which stands 2nd from right. All boys wear Lederhosen spotted with colorful dots or stars. No suspenders or not shown under their shirts. They wear Lederhosen at P.E. I can only speculate why. Maybe a humiliation scene. This scene was not in this series, but would be an idea. There is only one Lederhosen scene which is a bit different but also similar humiliating, but I haven't seen it recently.
http://sailorsuitsandlederhosenfilmblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/12/schloss-einstein/
I also had lot of work with blogging in the dream. Like in real life. Maybe I should spent less time on it.
The last I remember thinking of before going to sleep was that I wanted to blog the fact, that I sometimes wonder, if celebrities or even the mentioned actors might be reading my blogs and what they think about being here and my ratings. And if they like wearing Lederhosen and bibs or others in them as well.
I have just seen, that there are pics (one each) of my new blogs in the Blogger's Dashboard (and all in the Google Reader), but no thumbnails in the feed list on the old blog.
I still have much more hits on my old blogs. About 400/day on my old bib blog and 177/day on my new blog. The rating and stats system of the new blog is a bit better. It also shows hits of pages like the main blog page and clicks of links and pics.
Coming next another Alexei movie (2 Oscars) which I haven't found by the character link at IMDb.

Story 27: Exclusive photos #5
Time for another exclusive pics.
Showing 5 unknown boys in sailor suits. The backside says 1940 but the original pic looks very faded, so unclear if that's a date or just a number. Colorized by myself. It looks much better as if it was taken not so long ago. Quite interesting also showing a teen boy. Note the different length of stockings. The little boy moved his head.
Below another pic of 3 unknown boys. Probably even older. I can't say their nationality but they might all be Germans. All in High-Res at my PD (b/w Lederhosen Picasa album)
The today's comedy / Heimatfilm "Liebesgrüße aus Tirol" had very few Lederhosen scenes of a very young boy. I will add this later.

Die Wölfe (2009)
Documentary / drama, 3 parts
-Year: 2009
-Year in film: 1948, 1989
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: Kurt ~16, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: other boys, Lederhosen, shorts
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: no
-Clothing occurrence: low
-Rating: 5/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: One or maybe 2 older teen boys in Lederhosen (I think Philip Wiegratz (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) pictured on left in buckskin Lederhosen with suspenders (not H-style)), also some other boys in short pants in the 1948 scenes. Probably no Lederhosen scenes in the 1989 scenes (fall of the Berlin wall).
I don't know/don't remember this mini series. Grimme and Emmy Award. Looks quite interesting although this teen boy is overweighted. Also starring ~ 13 yo Maximilian Werner ("Tiere bis unters Dach", entry on my overalls blog). Trailer at grimme-institut.de. Sorry, no better pic yet.
I have to check this again the next broadcasting. Rating 4-5 for now.

Info 75: Last post (or maybe not)
In case someone still might haven't noticed my moving to Wordpress (maybe someone who only hunts for pics) I created this post with a pic.
Wordpress has also some disadvantages and maybe bugs (like no thumbnails on blog feeds, for more experiences and important features (incl. commenting and rating) see there).
I try it for about 2 weeks and maybe come back, but I don't think I will.
The Google Feeder who also acts in my blog list showing older posts which I updated (like my A-Z list wich I update after each post) as new posts and not on top (at least once) and not showing at all the previous new post. This should be a feature and not a bug as the content is new to the Feeder.
I try to prevent this by updating first the old post.
I created feeds here for my new blogs and this old blog will still have interesting weekly top voted post stats (as well as the new one).

Story 26: Kung Fu Kids II
Welcome back to my new blog. As announced 1 month ago, I make this story entry of Kung Fu Kids II. For more infos see also the main entry, rating 9 at
http://sailorsuitsandlederhosenfilmblog.wordpress.com/2012/02/22/hao-xiao-zi-di-er-ji/
First pic showing the easy way of dressing on a sailor suit (including collar). The sailor suit is attached to the wall to quickly step in (maybe someone search for shirtless).
The second scene showing the boy being embraced and wrinkling the collar. Poor collar, but touching scene. Obviously a good and funny kid's action film.
I still have to check all films of this series. I like clean white collars. There are also boys and girls in bib overalls (see also my other blog).
More infos about this new blog and the old blog coming next.

Info 73: Blog domain country changed
I was just wondering why I don't have the pencil symbol anymore for some days which allows quick editing posts.
I think there is a country redirect, but not sure if all the links are and will be working for all my readers.
I'm not sure if I should rename my blogs again. I hope that it will work.
No idea why Google acting like this. Probably due to the recently changed TOS and/or copyright issues of each countries. Maybe also because of SOPA.

Little Miss Broadway (1938)
Musical starring Shirley Temple
-Year: 1938
-Year in film: 1930s ?

-Who in clothing 2: other (teen) girls, sailor dress
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: no
-Clothing occurence: low?
-Rating: 4/10 ?
-Rating: *****
-Comment: Shirley Temple (pictured left in the middle) and a lot of other (teen) girls in white sailor dresses, dark blue skirts and collars. No stripes. I have also seen a lobby card with a teen girls in a completely white sailor dress, blue collar and stripes.
Another Shirley Temple movie with her in a sailor dress. But here also with lots of teen girls. 72 minutes b&w or colorized version. Obviously not into Public Domain, at least not on archive.org.
I don't know/don't remember this complete movie and have to check it for other actors/scenes. But obviously rather few sailor dress scenes.
Famous song "Be optimistic", also title of YouTube clips. Also starring George Murphy, Jimmy Durante and Jane Darwell. I also have other movies with Temple (try blog search with Shirley). At least one to come.
Rating 3-4 for now.

Die Mädels vom Immenhof
Heimatfilm starring Heidi Brühl
-Year: 1955
-Year in film: 1954
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: girl Dick 15 ys, other girl Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: 2 boys in Lederhosen, shorts, speedos, sailor dress
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: often *
-Rating: 9/10
-Rating: *********
-Comment: I think this is Angelika Meissner as main character in buckskin Lederhosen (without suspenders, sometimes with black rubber boots, pic top right), also another girl in Lederhosen (pic bottom left, same as top left on left), and 2 boys in Lederhosen with suspenders (one teen one preteen). Other teen boy in shorts. Both boys and the teen girl undressing Lederhosen (swimwear underneath). Youngest boy ~10 ys in medium blue speedo (top left 2nd from left), teen boy in white/colorful speedo (no Lederhosen, top right). Also Brühl in a rare blue sailor dress, blue collar, red white striped scarf (pictured). Also a teen boy in white riding pants/breeches.
Also riding in Lederhosen (but no close up scenes), farm work (teen boy shirtless), hay scenes (close up of bottom of teen girl).
I heard of Immenhof before, but didn't know of (boys and even girls) in Lederhosen. There are also at least 4 sequels + a TV series (which I all have to check as well).
Very good movie with ranch content. It's a teen Heimatfilm/family movie, drama. The first, I noticed with undressing scenes (boys+girls), but swimwear underneath. But rather few good scenes of the boys.
So there are better (real) Heimatfilms. But maybe one of the best with girls in Lederhosen.
No men in Lederhosen, no Schuhplattler, no women in Lederhosen.
I have to watch it again more carefully to check their names and other scenes.
Rating 8-9.
Kon belyy
Biography. TV series 10 ep.

-Comment: Aleksei Dovbysh as Tsarevich Aleksei (pictured) in a white sailor suit, blue collar, striped dickey. Long black pants. Also some real sailors and of course uniforms.
I have only checked some parts of this series, but I only noticed very few sailor suit scenes and few scenes of the Prince. Probably the worst Alexei fim/series, though might be authentic. But I don't like this at all. Lot of war and revolution scenes (Civil War).

Info 72: "First Class" Boy. Royal Navy etc
Some days ago I tried some new search terms like navy boy and found this pic. It pictures (on top) John Travers Cornwell (1900-1916) Boy, First Class, Royal Navy. He was wounded in action on 31st May 1916 and died 2 days later. Pic taken from (more infos there about his honours) at northeastmedals.co.uk.
Interesting big collar showing Boris Pasternak (pic below on right with his brother in 1898), author of Doctor Zhivago.
Also 3 more color/colorized pics on my PD album and one more b/w PD (all sailor suits).
There are lots of different search terms (on each language).
In English e.g. sailor costume, marine suit, little seaman; on German even more, like Marineanzug, Seemannskostüm, Matrosenkragen, Kieler Kragen, Matrosenkleidung, Matrosenbekleidung etc. And boy is in German Knabe or Junge, but Junge mans also young.
But most of all, as it was very common clothing it isn't even specified, so you better look for all vintage pics (vids or films).
Another interesting search term is "sea scouts". I found a pic with a group of boys and girls in white sailor suits via Google image search on flickr/flickriver, but I can't find this right now. Below a Greeting card of the 1910s or earlier.

Story 24, update: Nesthäkchen
Now I have checked some more parts of this 1983 series (rating 9) including the last part which has uploaded to Youtube much later.
There is another older teen actress as main character Annemarie (Anja Bayer, pictured bottom left in a blue sailor dress in ep 6) and at least 3 younger boys in different white sailor suits, different age (pic bottom right, ep 6), outside scene.
I also checked again some earlier episodes. The big picture on top from ep. 2 showing the youngest brother in longer buckskin Lederhosen (on left with his older brother). The older brother told him, that mother forbids wearing the Lederhosen just for the streets, but he didn't care.
The other 2 pics showing both brothers in blue sailor suits in ep 1. I prefer white sailor suits but the blue ones look also great on them.
For more infos see the main entry
/2011/08/nesthakchen.html
I still haven't seen the complete series, maybe I will even buy it. There might be even more interesting scenes and actors (eg at school). However main character is the 6 yo girl.

-Comment: A blond teen boy (pictured, I don't know his name) in a short light blue sailor suit. Dark blue collar, 3 stripes, sailor's hat. And Jerry Lewis (small pic on right) swapped clothes with him to appear as a 12 yo school boy.
I don't remember this complete movie, as I have seen it long time ago. But obviously only few scenes of this teen boy. Might be a very funny family movie, also starring Dean Martin, Diana Lynn and Nina Foch. Directed by Norman Taurog.
However interesting sailor suit style and color; movie title and plot. Maybe also other interesting scenes, clothes or other actors. Also lots of young women in shorts.
I will check this the next broadcasting.
Rating 3-4 for now.

-Comment: Pauli Engel as Pauli Engel (pictured on left with Christine Kaufmann) in short Lederhosen with tyrolean wide green suspenders. Also long black cotton pants with those suspenders. Also with a flat black hat and also in blue shorts.
3 older brothers in Lederhosen and long grey and black pants (pic top right) playing music, also 2 young visiting boys ~6 ys in short Lederhosen (unpictured).
At a church one teen boy in Lederhosen (standing) and some younger boys sitting (pics below).
Girls and teen girls in dresses, 2 older girls with extremely long dark pigtails.
Finally another Heimatfilm featuring Lederhosen. Quite good plot and very good landscape scenes.
A huge musical Austrian family; reminds of the Trapp family but this is called Engel ("angels").
Also starring Hans Söhnker and Hertha Feiler.
Half of the movie the young boy in Lederhosen and few scenes of the older teen boys/young men.
So rating 7-8. No DVD nor VHS found.
Film aka "Sag ja, Mutti", "Kleines Herz in großer Not" and "Heidschi Bumbeidschi".
