-Comment: At least 3 different boys in sailor suits including the black main character Hans-Jürgen (played by Luka Kumi (5-6 yo) and later 2 older actors), boys in buckskin Lederhosen, long, short with and without suspenders. And for those who like it German uniforms. Also some famous boy actors (Kevin Köppe and Frederick Lau).

This movie almost has it all. Maybe except for Heimatfilm scenes, smooth finish Lederhosen and girls.

Luka Kumi wore a short white sailor suit with dark and light blue collars, 3 stripes and a black hat (pics below), one boy in and outside school in dark blue sailor suit and one at a zoo (unpictured). However the boy in Lederhosen with suspenders is quite young, the others not cute enough. Why didn't Kevin Köppe wore Lederhosen? But he wore a German uniform.

I saw this movie as it was aired, but haven't recorded all of it. I only have checked some parts recently, so I have to check this again completely.

Interesting movie (2 parts), autobiographical novel by Hans-Jürgen Massaqoui.
I don't remember the parts set in 1940 and don't assume sailor suits Lederhosen there. Maybe I haven't seen them. Political incorrect title and I don't like Racism.
Rating even 7-8 for now, but compared to other movies I give 7.
