-Comment: Some older boys and one younger boy and I think some girls in white long sailor suits, sailor's hat and blue collars with one thick stripe. And one old sailor in a black suit "Käpt'n Iglo" (played by Gerd Deutschmann, who did on December 21, 2011, R.I.P.) who give away the products.

Usually I don't like adding ads, but I make an exception for this vintage one. I don't remember the exact production date, probably the late 1980s, but might be aired until the 90s. I'm not sure if all readers from foreign contries know this ad, though it might be dubbed for other countries as well. Maybe they were even non-German kids? Ad is for the fish sticks "Iglo Fischstäbchen". Very funny and interesting. Maybe there are different versions of this ad, but this is maybe the best known. I have to check out for other versions.

The product is still prodcued today and there are some more variations but also similar products from other companies. Maybe every kid likes them although most don't like fish. And adding lots of ketchup so they don't taste like fish. Often served with spinach. Now there are also chicken sticks, maybe often served with French fries.

Rating 6 for this very short ad. I later found a 1992 commercial (2019 re-upload, rating ~3)
