Exclusive pic#26 communion boys Amiens
This photo postcard showing two communion boys from Amiens, France. Completely dressed in white (except for the collars), including white shoes, short socks and gloves and the white ribbon at their arms. The right boy has a regular sailor collar, 3 stripes but the collar flaps seems to be short. Also note the white scarf. The boy on the left has an unusual very long collar (at least at the front and maybe at the back as well, I wish I could see it). The collar (maybe both) are simply put over the head. So no complicated binding at the waist and no dickeys. Left collar has 5 thin stripes. Quite interesting.
Photographer was called Crampon. Maybe made in the 1920s. Click for high res pic.
