This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

-Comment: Boys and men in Lederhosen.
As announced this entry (rebroadcasting on Monday morning, probably also online /mediathek).
Episode of Oktober 6th, 2012. At the beginning/intro a young boy in Lederhosen. Later one boy called Thomas doing a Fingerhakeln contest with the host sitting on the alps (one younger boy in the background and some men, maybe including his father). Dark cotton suspenders with colorful illustrations. Then 3 young boys, partly blond in longer black buckskin Lederhosen dancing Schuhplatter with girls also on the alps. Also men (musicians). Interesting different suspenders, partly light brown leather. One pic is at

I decided to not upload pics due to personal rights. The boys are also very young. I prefer the Fingerhakeln scene.
There is a best-of DVD box (so not this episode yet). Maybe there are other (older) boys and young men as well in other episodes. But I won't buy it unless I know for some better scenes.
Rating: Landscape: Rating 9-10, music (unrated, mostly grown-ups), Lederhosen 4-5, Boys 3-4, so total rating of 3-4 for this episode only.
One more entry later this day about the 3-part mini series "Die Manns - Ein Jahrhundertroman" (sailor suit /teen girl, men, women) and Lederhosen (little girl ?) and bathing clothes (teen boys)). Episode 3 will be aired tonight (but set in the 40s so probably fewer or none good scenes).
Update: I later found this kids pictured called "Engelsstimmen" singing with Benjamin Grund the song "Es waren zwei Königskinder".
