This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

Story 57: Exclusive pics #25 Flensburg 1920s school class
This school class pics showing many boys, almost everybody in sailor suits and school caps. Flensburg, St. Nikolai Knabenschule 1924 and 1925 (not sure if the same class and same boys but most likely). I haven't compared them and it's hard because of the caps not showing their hair. The boy on the little pic on the right is probably in the second row on top 3rd from right in 1924. I even have all names of the 1924 class, 5a 5th grade. Typical old German first names (like Otto, Karl and 4x Heinrich) and typical Northern last names (with ...ssen at the end). Flensburg is in Northern Germany and of course sailor suits were typical there. The 1925 pic on top also has a similar cardboard. The pics are in very good condition and I don't had to enhance them much. There is a 3rd pic in this lot (not at class pic but 2 younger boys and lots of grown ups in front of a house, maybe a celebration), but I don't like that and have better pics to come. Most boys look happy and I can't say much more about it.
