-Comment: Many girls in sailor dresses /sailor fukus. Also boys acting but probably not in sailor suits, but in traditional school clothing for boys. The movie is about a female teacher and her class, so interesting for everybody. I only have checked some few scenes. There's also a 1987 remake, which I also have to check but probably is much worse. Novel by Sakae Tsuboi.
Today I searched for Japanese films with sailor suits and the first I found was this clip. I first don't know the title of the movie as the clip has the title of a 1971 song (Song of the Beach, composer Narita) by Chieko Baishô. Starring Hideko Takamine (1924-2010). Original title "二十四の瞳"
I have to check this again later.
Rating 4 for now.
