R.I.P. Björn Andrésen (Death in Venice)

 

Yesterday, I read about his death 2 or 3 days ago aged 70. He appeared as 14 yo Tadzio in Death in Venice (Morte a Venezia, 1971) in both white and blue sailor suits and bathing costume. There also was a documentary "The Most Beautiful Boy in the World". I made these larger caps. R.I.P.

I don't know the movie but this is very interesting. New in cinemas.

Based on memories of Hark Bohm. Starring Matthias Schweighöfer.

Movie rating probably around 6-7. For clothes currently rating ~4-5.

Pic taken from a vid filming a TV magaine (uploader telenostalgiker). Super tv 21/1992 on 23-25. March 1992. I haven't found any info about this rare show. There were also also at least 2 audio cassettes and vinyl albums (found on discogs). This 2nd episode was aired on TH 28. Mai 1992. One other ep obviously on 10. Mai Mother's Day.

Probably a shortlived series, maybe just 2 episodes?

I don't know the names of the kids pictured. Maybe one of the artists from the cassettes?

Rating ~5 but unsure. Could be much higher. Aka Pommfritz und Edelweiß.

Friday on arte. Also on the ZDF mediathek. Next to the teen boy in smooth finished Lederhosen, there are some more younger boys in buckskin Lederhosen. In ep 1 Trimm-Dich-Pfad, Schweißband & Co. Scenes are from 1962 footage. At the very beginning but very brief scenes. Some scenes of pic 2 even better. I don't know why  I missed these.

A handsome young boy with dental braces sitting in longer black Lederhosen in yesterdays episode Staufrust und Trassenstreit - Dicke Luft rund ums Inntal. 16.7.2025. Talking/close-up at 6. Also men in Lederhosen. Available on the ARD mediathek / BR. I haven't seen the full show. Unfortunatley he's not sitting in the first row. So rather few Lederhosen scenes. Maybe there are more in this or other (upcoming) episodes.

Anita & the Kids of United Europe

 

I've uploaded some 1989 episodes, some more to come. In episode about Great Britain (clip 1 below), is a very young Scottish boy in a kilt singing and dancing. And there's a boys choir (Liverpool Cathedral Choir singing Yesterday with the host). Rather few good scenes, mainly in the second half. Much better is my Belgian clip (clip 2, no classical choir, no sailor suit and Lederhosen though).

Has been aired yesterday on DMF. I've seen most of it. It's also on Daily. I currently don't have the time to watch it again at regular speed. Next to the main character (I think played by Rolf Pinegger ~ 9yo, pic 1 at 1h09 also great rear views, there are also some other boys (mainly supporting actors) in other Lederhosen I think including smooth finished leather or nappa. Scene at a fair at 45. Most or all with H-style suspenders.

Rear view/first scene also at 34. Later, men dancing Schuhplattler near the end. Pic 2 at 45.

Some more good scenes in the other 2 of the 4 episodes. Pic 1 from ep "Spielen wir zusammen?" with at least a boy in Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. Pic 2 from ep "So ein Spielverderber!" with a boy sitting in Lederhosen, buckskin leather, no suspenders, s zippers. Again also others in shorts. One boy is shirtless in "So ein Spielverderber!". Maybe nappa or smooth finished leather.

Rare and nice, unfortunately again poor image quality filmed off a screen. (Maybe even on purpose, as an earlier account (unknown if same or other user) was closed with mainly FWU films.

Another one from the 16mm channel. This time a series in 4 parts, 15 minutes each. Pic 1 from ep "Keiner mag mich" (Aka Mich mag keiner, pic 2 from "Ich bin der Größte". Meanwhile he has uploaded episode 3/4 ("So ein Spielverderber!"), but I haven't checked that one yet, probably similar. Part 4 should be "Spielen wir zusammen".

Directed by Sven Schürenberg (1922-1973). No entry of this series on IMDb. But on Filmportal.de. First aired in 1974. The series also contains puppetry "Tim und der Löwe" by Gerhard Mensching. I remember having seen this, bt maybe not in that series.

Rating ~5-6 for now.

I first found 2 short clips then 5 short clips on YouTube what could almost be the complete movie. But later also one complete official clip. Director Tamela D'Amico. Quite late 1946 setting.

In fact I was searching for the 1999 Italian movie "Volare!".

It almost looks like my missing Italian assumed unknown film 9 but it's unlikely (hair at ears). Also interesting plot. First Israeli feature film about homosexuality. Main character is a 12 yo boy and his teacher.

For the girls rating ~2-3. Movie probably much higher. 

I haven't found the full movie yet but a trailer on the directors site (Wolmandan) with these pics.

I found my recording and understood some names and easily found this series (ep 1). Spanish was correct (Andalusia, 1900s). I prepared for uploading, but it's already there. Ep 1-3, full series on Spanish broadcaster rtve. Keywords on IMDb missing, also no results on Google Lens. Logo is from German's Kabelkanal, now Kabel Eins (used 1992-1994).

I found on YouTube this 12 minute clip with some boys from Trachtengruppe D´Wolfganger (Sankt Wolfgang, Salzkammergut, Austria). Uploader lobsterangel. Most boys are very young, though.

At least the 2 boys (Rupert and younger Werner, played by Austrian Finnian and Christopher Hipper, younger kids by Luca Russegger and Emanuel Promberger, but I think these are the older shown); in other movies Friedrich 14 and Kurt 11 yo) and a man (I think dad) in longer Lederhosen with H-style suspenders and they and their sisters (this time the younger kids) in blue sailor suits. German title: Die Trapp Familie - Ein Leben für die Musik. Also starring Yvonne Catterfeld as Maria Gustl (Augusta). I think some more more supporting actors in Lederhosen, at least men. Also uniforms.

I found this by coincidence on IMDb and still have to check the full movie. I assume few good scenes though. Pics from the trailers. Rating ~4 for now.

Immer wieder sonntags (2014 episode)

I found on YouTube as recommendation this 2014 episode with some boys and men in traditional Lederhosen. I haven't heard about their names. Only briefly checked I think few good scenes, rating ~3-4.

Info 2: Unknown Finnish 1989 series or movie (shiny shorts) = Tuomas (1989)

 

I have found and uploaded the full short film. And I found the title (due to the following program on my VHS). It's Tuomas. No entry on IMDb. The plot is about a young deaf boy. Now with sound. It wasn't dubbed (few dialogues). Also speedo scenes.
