I found some historic sailor suit images (PD) while searching for sailor suit films.
Quite interesting. At least one at a Beach in Florida in 1905 (pic above) and kids and teens on the beach/in the water in sailor suits and sailor dresses (pic below). Looks very funny at a beach with that.
I like vintage images and already searched the complete FSA/OWI and NCLC collection of 175.000+ farm images for overalls pics. I made 2 picasa albums with the best pics (see my overalls blog). I will check for more sailor suit pics and maybe I can even find Lederhosen pics somewhere.
