-Comment: Jeremy Spenser (1st pic) in a white sailor suit, short dark (blue) collar, 3 stripes (also rear view) and also with a longer collar flap and a straw hat. 2 short scenes only. At school he and other boys wearing white Eaton collars. Quite interesting. Sadly few scenes of boys. Not sure about the setting as this are flashback scenes. Pic one at 6 min, school scenes at 10 min, Pic 2 at 20 min.
Novel by Roy Horniman. Also starring Dennis Price, Valerie Hobson and Joan Greenwood. Alec Guinness playing 8 characters including a woman. According to TCM US release in 1946.
