-Comment: At least 2 girls in sailor like dresses with lace collars. Also boys in good historical clothing and hats. 12 children. I later also found boys (quite young) and men in real sailor suits.

That's the first movie I recently found that I mentioned before. Looks very interesting. But I don't know this complete movie yet.

1963 version after the play by Curt Goetz. Also starring Ruth Leuwerik ("Die Trapp-Famile", see that entry), Paul Dahlke, 9 or 10 yo Pierre Franck (looks like the boy on the left, pic 2) and many others. 12 kids, thats probably also something for my bedroom blog. I also have to check the 1951 version (starring Curt Goetz) but I don't assume sailor suits there.

I can't say much more yet. 123 minutes on DVD.

Rating 5-6 for now. But there are stage plays with boys in sailor suits.

Upate: Also real sailor suits, but movie is rather poor and few good scenes, adding tag women. Was occurence "often?" now low.
