Handsome child actor (still handsome later as teen). He did some more movies, also in bib overalls (see other blog, A Self-Made Failure (1924)), maybe some more in sailor suits. At least some movies are lost (not this one, but I haven't found it). Directed by King Vidor. Pic from Wikipedia.

Rating ~3-4 for now.

I have to search for more movie with him.

Google again change(d) the URL of the blog pictures and finally shut down PicasaWeb Albums by July 19th 2023. At least the embedded photos, mainly PD/CC including my exclusive pics (tagged stories), most starting with picasaweb.google, probably will not show up anymore. 

The photos themselves are still available, but on Google Photos. I won't fix every URL. Here are the new links of all albums

New uploads since ~Dec 2021 starting with blogger.usergooglecontent are safe. Older pics with bp.blogspot obviously has to be fixed, not sure if Google fix them automatically. So it's possible, that even more pix will be missing. I will then fix mainly the important pics (rating 7-10) and have to focus my other blog. Update: On July 20, the Picasa Albums had been deleted. Luckily the movie photos were not affected, just the earlier embedded manual uploads. Most pics are still displayed but the target link (for zooming) is defunct and not fixed by Google. I think they're sorted chronologically on Google Photos.

Much better are boys and girl in bib overalls and shortalls (other blog rating 8). Also kids in swimwear in "Who Built The Ark?", "Head, Shoulders Knees and Toes".

Probably only this very brief scene, so rating ~3-4 only.

–Comment: I only noticed this boy in short Lederhosen with H-sytle suspenders. Not sure about the fabric. Brief scene. (I might have missed some other scenes).

So rating ~3 only.

I also found a handsome blonde, freckled boy (B&w) in Landarzt Dr. Brock (ep 13) but no Lederhosen. Maybe Lederhosen scenes in other episodes, some are in color.

–Comment: One boy in a short blue sailor suit (short blue collar, 3 stripes), a boy in a long Lederhosen style pants with H-style suspenders /at least in ep 7), some other boys in historical clothes and also few women in sailor-style dresses and lace collars. Not sure about their names. Also men in long leather aprons.

Set in Berlin in the 1880s. Starring Günther Pfitzmann and Wolfgang Völz. 

Interesting series, I think I have seen that in 1979. Unfortunately few scenes. Pic from ep 5. Another scene in ep 7 (dining). I think only full view in ep 5. Novel by Erdmann Graeser.

Nice setting, dialect and actors, but for the few scenes I can only give rating 4. I also prefer longer collars. Hair-style (of the boys) looks also more like the 1970s.
