  1. Thanks. I used to embed some trailers (YouTube only) but I think there's no need for that, especially if I have seen the complete movie and have posted enough pics.

Often trailers are from official companies and I don't want backlinks. I also have enough referrer spam. It's easy to find trailers or movies.

Same problem for copyrighted pics or website links. That's the reason I only use small caps and 99% I made myself. That way I can also better check the movie. Instead of stealing or just reblogging pics (often watermarked).

Most of my readers are interested in Lederhosen anyway.

  2. Well, you have been running the blog for so long now that you know best what is right.

May I say that I've been following you (through bookmark) for quite some time now, maybe 3 or 4 years, even when you were still on blogger.

The combination of sailorsuits and lederhosen as clothing for boys in your blog is great because both have style and historical background.

Congratulations on your work, you do an awesome job!

  3. Thanks very much!
I'm a bit carefully and oriented myself on other databases and niche blogs. I'm not a picture blog. Maybe otherwise my blogs might have been deleted.
It's just for information purposes and is also useful for myself like what movie I have seen or what movie is worth watching again or purchasing.

I don't remember why I combined sailor suits and Lederhosen (I somewhere talked about it). Maybe coz some movies of my early posts showing both like the Ludwig Thoma movies and Die Trapp Familie.

Unfortunately I'm currently very busy and there are probably few movies left for this blog. Modern Heimatfilms often don't have notable Lederhosen scenes. New sailor suit movies are also rarely shown or produced at least not with major parts (except for Romanovs). Perhaps people are not interested in that anymore. Btw same for bib overalls.
