This is my 2nd blog about feature films, TV series and documentaries with boys, girls, men and women in sailor suits, Lederhosen and other historical clothing of the 19th century and beyond. I collect informations, trailer videos, low-res images and personal comments/ratings. This blog was introduced in 2011. 2012-2020 on Wordpress. Now I'm back. Update will take a while.

Meine Kindheit in Ostfriesland
Documentary series, this ep. 2013
-Year: 2010-
-Year in film: 1960s
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: boys ~7, Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: shorts
-Available on DVD: no ?
-I own: yes, partly TV recording
-Clothing occurence: low
-Rating: 4/10
-Rating: ****
-Comment: At least one younger boy in maybe nappa Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. I understand that this is Tamme Hanken himself (born 1960), so must be late 60s. Other scenes are about the 50s and 70s.
Yet another childhood documentary with vintage clips and pics. I think this is a different series than "Meine Kindheit ..." (see those entries) but it's very similar. "Meine Kindheit ... in der Weihnachtszeit" is set in Northrhine-Westphalia (WDR) and "Meine Kindheit in der Weihnachtszeit" is set in Northern Germany (NDR).
There are also other kids shown like 2 blond boys and a girl in a tin bathtub (also b&w). And other kids in shorts. But I missed the beginning.
Rating 4 for now. I like smooth finish Lederhosen but he's very young. There are better series.
