-Comment: At least this blond boy or young teen boy, one of the 5 members of the band "Los coconuts" in a white sailor shirt or jacket with attached dark blue collar (3 stripes) and light blue ripped off jeans shorts. Long neckline and nothing underneath. And a blue hat. He appeared in this song called Coconut but also at other scenes in the movie.

Also a girl and teen boys in bib overalls (overalls blog rating 3).

Quite unusual for an older boy wearing sailor like stuff in the 1980s and even combined with jeans shorts. Maybe Spain is a bit different as many boys wearing sailor suits at their Communion.

Somehow I don't like this movie.

Rating 5 for the suit. Much lower for the movie.

Also at least one in a dark grey blue collar and purple stripes (pic below). Party combined with string ties and caps or straw hats. Mainly short sailor suits. Also a spanking scene at class (I think no sailor suit). Of course also lots of other historical clothes.

Interesting TV movie (60 minutes) and rare sailor suits, but I prefer regular collars. No entry at IMDb.

The scenes are flashback scenes 50 years ago, maybe set in the 1910s or 1920s? Novel by Štefan Králik.

-Comment: An evil boy, probably Melvil Poupaud in a rare, short medium blue sailor suit with a simple collar. One white stripe at the edges. Looking more like a costume. Set during a war (WWI ?) but surreal setting anyway. Scene at 40 minutes. Completetly on YouTube but I only have checked it at high speed.

Interesting movie and plot. But I don't like this unusual sailor suit. Aka La ville des pirates (Rusticatio Civitatis Piratarum), Portugese title A Cidade dos Piratas, English title City of Pirates.

So rating 3-4 only.

I don't remember much of this movie. I think few good scenes, mainly or only at the beginning.

There's also a related 1961 TV movie but I haven't seen that one.

Rating 2 only. There are definitely better movies.

Update of unknown #9

I still haven't found this assumed Italian movie. The pic is a collage to better show the mentioned scene. The boy on the left is from "Non si sevizia un paperino" (Don't Torture a Duckling, 1972). He is similar cool but probably the actual actor has shorter hair and no jacket. Update: I found my original screenshot. See other updates.

Somehow I think the scene might be mainly in blue/green color but maybe I confound it with a different (earlier) French movie. The setting can also be like the pic below (taken from Gli ultimi angeli, 1978). Don't know the location. Is this Monte Sant'Angelo as well?

I tried the same databases where I found the previous unknown movie and briefly quecked all Italian dramas (1960s-2000s), around 700 movies but still no luck. Although I used my VHS recorder up to 2003, I think I had recorded it in the mid 90s and the movie could be made between ~1975-1993. Maybe rural and sea setting and probably set in the presence.

The following movies I have (almost) completetly checked and have either a very similar scene, similar plausible setting or similar actors. Some movies I could only check partly as some parts have been deleted. I will update this regularly.

After having checked most of the Italian movies I started to check other Mediterranean countries starting with Portugal, Spain and Greece. Update: I have almost checked every Italian movies back to the late 70s.

Update: Novecento (1976)

During research for my other unknown movie I have rechecked the complete movie again. Although both main characters are probably younger than the actor in the unknown movie I wasn't sure if there are other kids and there are. At the beginning and end another boy and some kids even in sailor suits in part 1 at the last scenes of their childhood.

One boy in a quite rare brown suit and a dark blue collar with 2 thin white stripes and a white cap and also a boy in a long white sailor suit. The sailor suit scenes with Alfredo are also few and short.

The movie is of course a masterpiece with some very good and funny scenes. I considered buying it on DVD many years ago but I currently prefer other (US) movies.

I have checked hundreds of movies and still haven't found the unknown one. I will upload similar pics and movies next which might help to identify it.

Unknown movie found!

After checking about 300 movies I have finally found unknown #8, the 80s French comedy film. It's called "Les saisons du plaisir".

Maybe I even have checked all the French comedy movies of the 80s (and started even the late 70s). I feared, that it's not tagged as comedy film (but as crime film) and that it might be a rare TV movie. But it's available on DVD (French language only, no subtitles). There's also a German VHS.

I first checked French websites and lists but found it via moviepilot.de but indirectly. There you can search movies and choose country, decade and genres. I first found a different 1976 movie and recognized a grown up actor called Roland Blanche. And searching the 80s movie starring him, I finally found it.

The movie is maybe not the best one. And I think few scenes with the boys. And they are quite young.

I also searched for the Italian movie but haven't found it yet. It's probably more difficult as I'm not sure about the year and even not sure if it's Italian (but I think so). Pants don't have bright colors. So could be 70s or even late 60s. I found some very similar actors (but most are darkhaired), some similar settings (also nothing special) and some similar plots. But not that particular one. Some movies aren't online or are partly deleted. And it's sometimes difficult to identify movies by few images or none at all.
