Ein Leben lang kurze Hosen tragen
Crime film starring Tobias Schenke
-Year: 2002
-Year in film: 1962-1966
-Country: Germany
-Who in clothing: Jürgen 16, boy ~8 Lederhosen
-Who in clothing 2: underwear, choir gowns
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Clothing occurence: very low
-Rating: 3/10
-Rating: ***
-Comment: A young boy at 7 minutes in I think long buckskin Lederhosen with H-style suspenders and I think 16 or 17 yo Sebastian Urzendowsky as 15 yo Jürgen in dark brown or black short Lederhosen (without suspenders), looks like smooth finished leather (also on the German DVD cover) in the middle of the movie. Also a boy in underwear after and choir boys in gowns before that.
Very interesting movie. Completetly on YouTube but I have seen it then on TV. But despite the tiltle I only noticed these 2 brief scenes.
I like smooth finish Lederhosen but for the brief scene (darklit in a cave, also one close-up but very briefly shown) I can only give rating 3 for that. Also annoying the b&w confession tape scenes of Bartsch. In fact there's only one other short scene of interest. Movie rating 4-5. There are better movies with this subject, even with Urzendowsy as well (Guter Junge).
English title "The Child I Never Was".
