–Comment: I think it's a boy in the jacket with the pink collar, blue jeans, purple cap and the baseball bat. Also a girl, probably Harlie Galloway as Maryellen in a long, dark blue sailor dress, white collar, 2 red stripes.

Quite rare and interesting. And late, I think set in the 1950s, probably 1955. But brief scenes in this short film.

So rating 3 only.

Maybe one boy in beige shorts instead of Lederhosen. Also other clothes like jeans. Pic from the end of the movie. Song: Dein schönstes Geschenk.

Has been aired yesterday. Unfortunatley, I have only seen 5-10 minutes at the end. So this needs to be rechecked. But I assume few (good) scenes.

There are some, similar movies also with Roy Black as a Doctor (Kinderarzt Dr. Fröhlich) which also needs to be checked. I only have "Immer Ärger mit den Paukern", rating 1.

1969 is quite late and this are rather comedy films than Heimatfilms. Almost 1970s (clothes) which I don't like.

–Comment: Louis Held in Tyrolean black, very short buckskin Lederhosen with H-style suspenders and a tie. In this scene, he grabbed the suspenders with both hands. Also riding in those.

Also at least 3 kids, probably girls at the end in sailor dresses (Manga costume, maybe Sailor Moon). And many kids and teen girls in other Costumes including Cowboys with hats (Western blog, rating 4) and at least a woman and a girl in bib overalls (rating 3).

Also on my pigtails blog, rating 5.

Has been aired on Easter but I missed it almost completetly. I assume few Lederhosen scenes and the actor is almost grown-up. At least the Lederhosen are shorter than usual nowadays.

So rating 4-5 for now only.

–Comment: AnnaSophia Robb ("Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", 2005) in several dresses with collars, at least these dresses with sailor collars, a medium blue dress with matching, rounded collar, 2 dark blue stripes, and a dark blue dress with a white collar, angled, almost rectangled and splitted at the front. Also younger girls especialy at the beginning and women in dresses and hats and an older redhaired boy in historical clothes at the beginning (brown pants with suspenders and white, striped shirt).

I found this by concidence. Interesting period movie and clothes. Unfortunately very few boys and obviously none in a sailor suit.

Interesting school scene at 44 minutes (girls only, white sleeveless dresses over other shirts) some few in pigtails. Soon on my other blog, rating 5.

–Comment: Part 1 has been aired yesterday, but I missed it almost completetly, as I have seen something else.

At least a young boy in a blue sailor suit and another boy in Lederhosen. Obviously few and brief scenes at around 1h11 (pics 2+3). Update: Pic 1 is at 1h02 (set in or before Olympia 1936 ?). Update 2 Also at least one woman in a sailor dress at 46.

I have to recheck it, as well check part 2 (broadcasting today, Saturday). Probably even fewer scenes in part 2, which is mainly set later. Subtitle: Pioniere, Brüder und Rivalen. Available on the mediathek.



Setting starts in 1922. Scenes probably set around 1936 or 1939 just before WWII (or maybe flashback scenes ).

Rating 3-4 for now only. Obviously very few scenes of interest.

English title: Rivals Forever - The Sneaker Battle. Not to be confused with "Duell der Brüder - Die Geschichte von Adidas und Puma" aka "Adidas vs. Puma" (also in 2016). I have to check this as well.

–Comment: Henry Thomas (1 year before film E.T.), and younger film brother, Carey Hollis Jr. at least wearing white sailor shirts and white collars (2 stripes, 2 Navy stars) and dark blue, wide scarves. They wore faded, blue jeans, probably their bib overalls underneath, so no white pants. And a young man (Eric Roberts) in a sailor suit and hat. At least the younger boy with a white hat and not the white shirt).

Also on my bib overalls blog, currently rating 6+, but I still haven't checked the complete movie, which looks very interesting.

For sailor suits, currently rating 5-6. Movie itself probably much more.
