–Comment: At least this boy in tight, short, dark maybe black Lederhosen of nappa or smooth finished leather (without suspenders) and 2 rows of zippers. Also other very good scenes of him sitting, also walking, rear view. Long blue stockings. Other kids in black tights doing sports.

I recently found one short clip with this title. Year and other infos are missing. The dress looks like the (late 1950s) or rather the 60s (or maybe East Europe in the 1970s). No entry on IMDb ? Also not for the translation "Dzieci w Pradze". Mabye it's called different?

Can anybody help for more infos. Maybe the rest of the movie doesn't show kids and might be boring?

I like smooth finished Lederhosen but he looks quite thin with the long stockings.

So rating 7 for now only.

English title "Marriage Italian Style". Also starring Marcello Mastroianni. Nominated for 2 Oscars.

I don't know/don't remember the complete movie and only have checked it at high speed.

Quite good sailor suit and maybe an interesting movie but the boy is very young.

So rating 3-4 for now only. (Needs to be rechecked, also for maybe other actors and amount of scenes, I assume only very few good scenes including touching the collar).

I found this by coincidence checking for other TV broadcastings. It has recently been aired on Austrian TV but is unfortunatley not available on the mediathek anymore. 13 episodes a 47 minutes.

There's one young boy around 7 yo called Thomas Bakos, but unknown if in Lederhosen.

Few pics on the web (only showing men in Lederhosen and partly people in the background), no clips. Hope for a soon rebroadcasting but I don't assume many (good) scenes.

So rating 3-4 for now only.

–Comment: One Polish and 3 Jewish boys in pants with suspenders, at least one with H-style suspenders, but not Lederhosen (the boy in pic 1+4 which is 12 yo Adam Probosz "Jesli serce masz bijace", sailor suit rating 4 ), and one blond girl around 8-9 yo as German girl in a white sailor suit with a green grey collar. And Germans in WWII uniforms men, not sure about boys. Pic 1 at the beginning also fighting on the ground. Pic 4 at around 1h. Also a basque cap.

–Comment: Caspar Salmon in a short, medium blue sailor suit (jacket for outside) including matching collar, dickey and cap. 2 thick white stripes, stripes crossing at the edges on the collar. 2 stripes each also on the cap, dickey and edges of the sleeves. About 3 older boys in white suits, one with a white collar (without stripes) one with a dark blue collar but very short scene. Both scenes starting at around 20 minutes.

Also some other boys in historical clothes of the 1920s. Also night shirts. Some other scenes of interest (2 boys in a bathtub and 1 boy walking around without clothes but few and brief scenes). Good plot, novel by Jules Supervielle. English title: The Children Thief.

Very interesting bedrooms (soon on my other blog, rating 5).

Unfortunately rather few sailor suit scenes. And the boy is very young.

So rating 4 only. I also have to check the other versions.

Hundreds of supporting actors but mainly from a distance. Rather few and short scenes of the boys in sailor suits. But I only have checked it at high speed. 138 minutes.

Pic 1 is a Dover beach scene at 59 minutes. 2 young boys in short white sailor suit, blue and light blue collar. Front view only from a distance. Woman and men in bathing costumes, also in the water.

Pic 2 is a young darkhaired boy in a white sailor suit and white collar and cap. Looks like a very short sailor suit and black stockings (or is this a shadow ?) scene at 20 min. Some other kids in different suits but without a collar.

Pic 3 a girl (looks like a boy). I don't remember the position. Pic 4 an older boy with dark culrs in a white sailor suit (thick blue stripe) and white collar and cap at 2h10.

Good but typical period film of the 1960s. Interesting clothes but rather few sailor suit scenes. Only one and brief scene of regular blue collars.

So rating 4 only. Not much more for the movie itself. Not bad and funny but I prefer other movies.

 

Jesli serce masz bijace

–Comment: At least one boy with blond curls (12 yo Adam Probosz as 10 yo Henry) in a long, dark blue sailor suit. Dark blue collar, 3 stripes. Also at least 2 spanking scenes one between the boys (bare) and dad and Henry (sailor suit).

Another movie about the famous novel Cuore (Heart) from Edmondo De Amicis (see other posts below) which are much better up to rating 10. English title: If Your Heart Can Feel.

I haven't seen this complete movie but I think I don't like it.

He also appeared in other good movies like Akademia pana Kleksa (rating 6), Zielone lata (1980) (H-style suspenders, coming soon).

Cuore (1984) rating 10. There are some others movies about that. Cuore aka Heart and Soul (1948) b&w, confirmed sailor suits, and the 2001 series Cuore (unsure), both needs to be checked. Also the movies called "Dagli Appennini alle Ande" which is a part of the novel. Some are animations or of modern setting (but some have handsome boy actos).

Marco (2011 series) have a boy in blue jeans overalls (soon on my overalls blog, rating 5 and bedroom blog rating 6, two boys in 1 bed) and suspenders of leather (backpack).

S'Waisechind vo Engelberg

–Comment: Mainly one boy in high cut, beige buckskin Lederhosen with H-style suspenders, one other in longer cotton shorts with H-style suspenders (pic 3 at 1h01 on the left, is this Peter ?) he is also depantsed, wearing tighty whiteys underneath, suspenders still up (at 37 minutes). Some other boys in shorts and longer pants, some few might be out of leather, some maybe corduroy. Some few other boys in short Lederhosen at the beginning. One boy at the beginning and maybe in pic 4 wearing black or dark shorts or Lederhosen, might be smooth finished leather. But brief scenes and from a distance.

DVD already received today. Much better than thought and many (good) scenes and many boys. Remastered audio and video. Swiss-German and German audio, no subtitles. 1h28 min. The movie itself is somehow not the best but I have seen the last 2/3rd only at high speed, yet. Aka Heidemarie. Fanous novel by Johanna Spyri. The only Heidi movie with boys in real Lederhosen. Lederhosen scenes:

At 3 minutes: Outside school, at 5 minutes one boy in Lederhosen sitting on a railing, 18 min at a lake pic 4, 21 min inside house, slapping Heidi, 23 inside 2 boys walking brief rear view, 36 outside pic 2 (boy in Lederhosen coming down from the hayloft,  37 depantsing and hands tied, 54 walking pulling a hay cart and sitting on it let Heidi pull, 1h01 pic 3, 1h03 several boys standing phone call, 1h26 standing, walking, front+rear (best scene, quite long).

Very good, but rating 7-8 only compared to other movies. I will rewatch it and maybe update this.

Info 216: S'Waisechind vo Engelberg (purchased)

I have recently ordered this interesting Heimatfilm aka Heidemarie (1956). At least 2 boys showing, probably much more at school. 1 wearing H-style suspenders but pants not out of leather. The other boy could wear beige buckskin Lederhosen but unsure.

Heidi is a very good movie subject. Unfortunately most or all movies don't show Peter in Lederhosen.

Already received. See next entry. Better than thought.
