–Comment: Several boys, especially at school in episode 4 (all pics) in different sailor suits including the main character played by 9 yo girl Rita Pavone (pic 1, sorry, I saw too late that's a girl).
Most collars are rather short but wide. One boy has a light blue and longer collar (pic 4). Also a funny scene with a sailor collar with text as crib. The school scenes and the plot of the "bad boy" reminds me of the Lausbubengeschichten by Ludwig Thoma, especially part 2 with the same time setting (my first entry).
I only have seen few parts of some of the other episodes (as they got deleted on YouTube).
There's another movie with the same title, but that an animation. Very good is the 1983 movie Gian Burrasca (update coming soon). I haven't found the 1943 movie (except for the pic) and still have to check the 2001 movie and musicals/stage plays.
Rating 4-5 for now.
