-Comment: Jean-Marc Thérin at the beginning in shorts and also in different church altar boys clothes (red/white, black/white and other). One very brief scene of a communion boy in a sailor collar (at 64 minutes, pic 1 on the left, also front view but very briefly shown).

Thérin also starred himself in a sailor suit in "Le temps des as" (rating 4, 1978).

First I thought that that scene is in this movie and I searched a lot. I have heard of this movie before and maybe I have even seen it many years ago. I had expected much more. Autobiographical novel by Jean L' Hote.

Rating 2 for the very brief sailor suit scene, the movie around 4.

R.I.P. Karl Moik ("Musikantenstadl") and also R.I.P. all victims of the Germanwings flight.

Maybe not all international followers knows or heard of the death of Karl Moik.

He was host of the most famous Volksmusik show. Lots of men and boys wearing Lederhosen were there. I have 2 entries, but one entry is with a different host.

Pictured is a 1990s unknown show with a confirmed host of Karl Moik, probably Musikantenstadl around 1990 (rating 10). I think one of my earliest Lederhosen recording, I still have for about 25 years. More infos and one more pic at

Also some other boys in historical clothes. Funny scenes throwing manure at a woman. Starring Heike Makatsch. Also a young brother and sister at a table.

Had been aired 2 days ago and can be watched again online at arte.

I haven't seen the complete movie at slow speed, so it's possible that I miss some (supporting) actors. But I don't think of any better scenes of interest.

Unfortunately very brief scenes. Nice setting and town but rather boring.

This is a sequel to Le temps des as (sailor suit boy, rating 4). I think I now have checked almost all of the series, combined called as "Les faucheurs de marguerites". But probably nothing much more of interest. But better than nothing.

According to IMDb set in the 1930s, at least after WWI.

Rating 3-4. Too few scenes.

During research I also found the movie series "Kekec" with more boys in I think longer (buckskin) Lederhosen.

Had been aired yesterday. I couldn't watch the beginning but luckily it's completetly on YouTube. (I rechecked it at high speed).

2 boys in Lederhosen (pictured scene at 1h05, other not in brown Lederhosen). 2 other (?) boys at the end of the movie in Tyrolean traditional clothes, probably including long black Lederhosen like the men (green wide Tyrolean suspenders), but bodies were not shown completetly. And also a page boy around 11 yo in a black uniform. At the beginning till the middle of the film many actors in snow clothes. Later men in speedos.

So in fact only the pictured scene of interest. Very short scene and young boys.

Also starring Adrian Hoven, Beppo Brem and Franz Muxeneder.

I found this by coincidence on YouTube but only one out of 6 episodes. There is also a prequel called "Les faucheurs de marguerites" (1974)  and 2 sequels which I also have to check and are also about early aviation 1914-1918 (partly different actors).

Sorry, I can't say much more yet unless I've seen the rest of it.

The boy also starred in "Confessions d'un enfant de choer" (1977). I have checked this movie and there is also a (different) boy in a dark blue sailor suit but very brief scene (entry coming soon).

Maybe quite interesting but I don't like this boy.
