-Comment: At least one boy in rare long, obviously smooth finish or nappa Lederhosen with H-style suspenders. I can't remember seeing that before. Quite bad image quality and I'm not sure how long the pants are or what are stockings. I think also some (much younger) boys in shorts. Mostly some few b&w scenes and pics. Sothern Germany (Pfalz and similar, not Bavarian).

A late Happy Easter!

This had been aired during Easter. Unfortunately I missed most of it and only noticed this very brief scene which is from a private Super 8 film.

Interesting documentary (can be watched again online at swr mediathek) about very rare Easter traditions, some only in one region or small town.

But in total rather few (good) scenes. Typical vintage documentary (see similar entries).

So rating 3-4 only for these rare long smooth finish Lederhosen.

-Comment: Many teen boys and also girls in very good sailor suits. White shirts, blue long collars, 3 stripes, matching blue striped dickeys underneath and red soviet scarves. Short dark or black pants. which are also of interest, though no as good as Lederhosen, but almost looking as such. White stockings and blue berets. Also good swimming scenes in speedos.

Some have very long collar flaps (a blond teen boy pic 1 on the left, pic 2 on the right and the girl pic below). But the others are also long and wide.

Previously I already had this entry under Do svidaniya leto (1982) (rating 5) what is wrong and maybe just the title of one song. So it's not a short musical film but a full feature film. 67 minutes. Filmed in 1968. Russian title Пассажир с „Экватора.

So it's much better than thought. Many sailor suit scenes. So rating 6-7 instead of 5.

Info 185: Books Lederhosen 1940s 50s 60s

I found 2 interesting books with boys in Lederhosen (or similar brown or black shorts).

Christian Elster: Drei Jungen auf einer Insel

One edition with a good book cover image. As this is a drawing I can't say if leather or cotton. Book also includes illustrations (including skinny dipping). Online version (not showing the cover image but illustrations):

Not sure if someone is interested in this. The other title I forgot and try to find.

The problem is that the cover images often changes and the plot is not neccessarily describing that clothing in the text. And vice versa. Same for my bib overalls blog. More books there and new ones coming soon.

-Comment: One young teen boy (probably Yaroslav Leonov) in a white sailor suit and cap, dark blue long pants and flying blue collar with 3 stripes (wearing a backpack underneath). At least 2 younger boys in short olive and medium blue sailor suits and also many young men/older teen boys in white and dark blue sailor suits. Also later 2 teen boys in other historical brown clothes. And probably also lots of uniforms.

I haven't checked all episodes. All pics are from ep. 3. I don't have the time to watch them all but there seem to be rather few (good) scenes.

Good and long collar flaps and I like flying collars and handsome actors.

Russian title "Красные горы " I don't understand Russian and I'm not sure about all names. Starring Vladlen Kosyanov, Ivan Shmakov and Roman Makedonskiy.

Rating 6-7 for now.

Info 184: Documentaries (Lederhosen)

I have recently seen 2 or 3 documentaries involving boys in Lederhosen (not docus about Lederhosen) but there were very few b&w pics or clips only and I haven't made any screenshots.

Last week one about cooking during and after WWII and previously  some other docus about the war. Mainly on WDR. (I already have some similar entries).

I don't have the time to record and watch all that and I won't add that here (except if there's anything notable like very handsome kids or smooth finish Lederhosen or else rating 7 or up).

 

There are also many movies with boys in beige or brown shorts, but I also don't add non-leather stuff. Sometimes I'm not 100% sure if I have seen something in bad image quality.

I will try my best to find and add something asap.
